    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rear post structure in a cargo vehicle is provided to remove an operation to close a rear post and to reduce the number of components and cost by removing a hinged portion. CONSTITUTION: A rear post structure in a cargo vehicle comprises a rear post pin(50), a rear post bracket(80), a snap ring(100), and a support plate(60). The rear post pin is composed of a handle portion to be operated with the rear post bracket fixed to an inner portion of an end of a gate assay with a bolt and a slide portion on a lower side. The rear post bracket supports the rear post pin. A rear post spring(90) is installed to a rear post bracket hole to be penetrated by the rear post pin. Therein, a movement of the rear post pin is adjusted by resilient force of the spring. The snap ring is installed to a lower portion of the rear post spring to transfer resilient force to the rear post pin. The support plate is attached to a lower portion of the side gate assay. The support plate makes the slide portion fixed when a side gate opens and makes the slide portion slid when the side gate is closed. Thereby, the side gate assay is opened by holding a post cap(70) and pulling the rear post pin. The side gate assay is closed when the rear post pin slides by bumping against the support plate.
