Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a joint structure of a light weight vehicle body is provided to enhance the light weight property, durability, rigidity, productivity and quality of a product by manufacturing a joint structure of an aluminum space frame which constitutes a light vehicle body using a semi-solidification molding method. CONSTITUTION: First, an aluminum alloy as a material of a joint structure(100) is melted at 670°C using a melting pot(10). Then, such melted aluminum alloy liquid is electronically stirred at 580-585°C for 30-35 seconds through electronic stirring by means of an electronic stirrer(20), and it is semi-solidified into a semi-solidified metal slurry using a reheater(30). Then, the semi-solidified metal slurry is injected into a cavity of a metal mold at a pressure of 90-100MPa for 30 seconds. Thereafter, a semi-solidified and molded joint structure(100) is withdrawn at 450°C from the cavity.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a magnesium pedal brake is provided to improve responsibility of a brake and to reduce processing steps and parts by fabricating the magnesium pedal brake using a semi-solid forming process. CONSTITUTION: A semi-solid forming apparatus(10) includes a sleeve(11), an electronic stirrer(12), and a ram(13). Magnesium material, such as AM60B, is melted in the temperature of 700°C so as to form a semi-solid state between grains. When ductility of stuff is sufficient, molten metal having a semi-solid state is injected into the sleeve(11). After that, an electronic stirring process is carried out by means of the electronic stirrer(12). Then, a magnesium alloy is added to a mold in the temperature of 570 to 580°C. The mold having the magnesium alloy is pressed about 40 seconds by means of the ram.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a brake drum using squeeze casting is provided which manufactures a lightweight brake drum by using an aluminum composite material as a material of the brake drum, and substantially reduces the entire manufacturing process of the brake drum by adopting the squeeze casting. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a brake drum using squeeze casting comprises a process of preparing a sleeve(14) for filling of molten metal and a plunger(15) and a plunger tip(16) that are at the inner side of the sleeve(14), and injecting molten metal into the inside of the sleeve(14) at the same time; and a process of coupling the sleeve(14) onto a mold(17), pressing molten metal into the mold(17) using the plunger tip(16), and discharging a product from the mold(17) as the mold(17) is being released after the lapse of a certain period of time, wherein the process of pressing molten metal using the plunger tip(16) is performed in the temperature range of 580 to 590 deg.C for about 60 seconds, and the method further comprises a process of arranging electronic stirrers(18) at both sides of the sleeve(14) in which molten metal is filled, and performing electronic stirring in the temperature range of 580 to 590 deg.C using the electronic stirrers(18) between the process of injecting molten metal into the inside of the sleeve(14) and the process of pressing molten metal using the plunger tip(16).

The apparatus for manufacturing automobile sub frame using high toughness aluminum alloy comprises a vacuum furnace(10) for storing the aluminum melt as maintaining aluminum melt to a temperature of about 700 deg.C; an injection pipe(12) connected to the vacuum furnace(10) by hot water pipe(11) to guide injection progress of the aluminum melt to the inside of cavity of mold; an injection cylinder(13) for injecting the aluminum melt inside the injection pipe(12) using a pressure of about 800 MPa; fixing die(14) and operating die(16) for creating a cavity that is a product molding space as the fixing die(14) and operating die(16) are being united or separated with being supported onto main body; and two vacuum valves(15,18), vacuum pump(19) and pressure reduction tank(20) for removing air inside the cavity(17) at the same time when the aluminum melt is filled in the cavity(17).

Abstract: 본 발명은 버스의 조향장치에 사용되는 링크기구에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 조향장치의 링크기구는 슬래브아암(11)이 사이드프레임(7)에 고정되어 하방으로 연장하는 슬래브아암제어용 브라켓(20)의 하단에 힌지되어 제 1 드래그링크(4)에 의해 중립의 상태로부터 좌,후로 하향하여 작동하도록 구성된 것이다. 또한, 제 2 드래그링크(12)의 형상도 슬래브링크(11)의 하향피벗운동에 따라 휠(9)을 조향하도록 선단이 상방으로 경사져 연장하도록 형성되며, 종단은 하방으로 경사져 연장하도록 형성된다.
본 발명에 따른 조향링크에서는 슬래브아암(11)의 위치가 낮아지며, 더욱이 슬래브아암(11) 및 제 2 드래그링크(12)가 하방으로 회전하여 조향이 이루어지므로 차량 하부의 다른 부품들과의 간섭의 우려가 없게 되며, 조향시 링크기구의 무게중심이 제 1 드래그링크(4)의 하방에 위치하게 되므로 조향휠(1)에 큰 반력을 미치지 않게 되어 스티어링휠(1)의 떨림현상이 방지되게 된다. 이에따라, 차량의 롤링현상이 저감되어 승차감의 향상에도 기여할 수 있다.
