Abstract: PURPOSE: A defrosting structure for automobile is provided to rapidly remove the mist formed at the wind shield glass by permitting the outdoor air to pass through the heater core so as to raise the temperature of the air being introduced through the defrost nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A main duct(100) has an outdoor air inlet(110) and a defrost nozzle(120) arranged adjacent the wind shield glass. The main duct has a heater core(200) embedded at the inner surface of the main duct, in such a manner that the heater core is selectively communicated to the outdoor air inlet through a main door(130) which is mounted on the main duct. The main door is open, and a bypass door(131) is installed in the open portion of the main door. The bypass door opens the outdoor air inlet and the heater core to a predetermined degree when the defrost mode is selected. A partition(140) is arranged on the main duct so as to form a predetermined air circulation path, and a sub door(150) is mounted on the partition so as to selectively open the air circulation path formed by the partition.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for supplementing refrigerant using receiver drier is provided to extend time for supplement of refrigerant in an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises an auxiliary tank(2); a connecting hole(3); a solenoid(5); and a pressure switch(7). The auxiliary tank is placed on a lower end of a receiver drier(1), has a conical upper surface and stores refrigerant for supplement. The connecting hole is formed on a center of the upper surface of the auxiliary tank to be fluidically connected with the receiver drier. The solenoid has an operating valve(4), popping in and out to selectively open and close the connecting hole, and is installed on a bottom of the auxiliary tank to make the operating valve pop in and out according to input power. The pressure valve is installed on an upper surface of the receiver drier and is turned on/off according to inner pressure of the receiver drier to selectively supply the solenoid with voltage of a battery(6).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure of ventilation duct for vehicle air conditioning system is provided, in which an adjustment valve for concentrating the air blown from the blower onto the defrost duct is arranged in the ventilation duct, to thereby effectively remove the frost formed at the side door glass during rain or winter time. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system includes a defrost duct(6) and a ventilation duct(7) which are arranged within an instrument panel so as to guide the air blown from a blower to a side defrost grille(11b) and a side ventilation grille(12b), respectively. Disposed between the defrost duct and the ventilation duct is a communication passage(9) for communicating two ducts. An adjustment valve(18) is arranged within the ventilation duct so as to selectively guide the air blown from the blower to the side defrost grille or the side ventilation grill. The adjustment valve includes a first valve(21) and a second valve(22) coupled to an outer shaft and an inner shaft of the adjustment valve, respectively, and which open/shut off the ventilation duct and the communication passage.
