Abstract: 본 발명은 주행속도 패턴을 이용한 티피엠에스(TPMS) 자동학습 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 일정시간 동안 모니터링 되는 차속 센서로부터의 차량 속도와 TPMS 센서의 가속도 정보를 이용한 속도의 변화가 유사한가를 이용하여 자차에 장착된 TPMS 센서인가, 다른 차량에 장착된 TPMS 센서인가를 구분하는 자동 학습방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 주행속도 패턴을 이용한 TPMS 자동학습 방법은 차량의 타이어에 장착되는 TPMS 센서를 인식하기 위하여 수신기에서 차량을 주행하면서 차량에 장착된 TPMS 센서를 자동으로 학습하는 TPMS 자동학습 방법에 있어서;
상기 수신기에서 TMPS 센서 신호에 포함된 가속도 정보를 이용한 속도와 차속 센서의 신호를 이용한 속도가 동시에 증가하거나 감소하는지를 판단하고, 두 속도 변화의 폭이 일정범위 내에서 같은 지를 확인하는 단계를 임의의 n번 반복 수행하여, 상기 n번 만큼 두 속도가 동시에 증가 또는 감소하고, 또 상기 n번 만큼 두 속도 변화의 폭이 일정범위 내에서 같은 경우에 TPMS 센서를 자차의 TPMS 센서로 등록하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: An auto learning method of TPMS using a velocity pattern is provided to alarm a user about low pressure of a tire by performing auto learning in case a sensor is replaced to reduce auto learning time. An auto learning method of TPMS using a velocity pattern comprises: a step(S702) receiving a sensor signal from a receiver at one time in case a vehicle is driven over fixed speed; a step(S704) receiving the sensor signal sent from the sensor again; a step(S712) registering ID the sensor which is performed auto learning or discarding the ID of the sensor which is not performed auto learning; a step(S714) acquiring the acceleration information included in the sensor signal; a step(S716) calculating the change amount of the tire spinning speed through the acceleration information; a step(S718) acquiring the car speed information from a vehicle speed sensor; a step(S720) calculating the change amount of the vehicle speed through the speed information; a step(S726) determining whether the change amount of the vehicle speed is within error range or not in case the direction of increase or reduction is equal; and a step(S732) discarding the sensor ID in case the change amount of the vehicle speed is over error range.

Abstract: A method for alarming an external noise signal in a TPMS system is provided to alarm an external noise signal by detecting the external noise signal through RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) signals. A method for alarming an external noise signal in a TPMS system includes the steps of: reading out RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) signals indicating the strength of RF signals from sensors of wheels, and comparing the size of the RSSI and with a predetermined critical value; reducing noise count, if the size of the RSSI is smaller than the predetermined critical value; checking whether the RF signals is received from each wheels or not, if the size of the RSSI is larger than the predetermined critical value; initializing the noise count, if the RF signal is received from the sensor and then returning back to the first step; increasing the noise count, if the RF signal is not received from the sensor; comparing the noise count for a predetermined time with a first limit value which is set beforehand; and if the noise count is larger than the first limit value, judging that the external noise signal is generated and alarming the generation of the external noise signal.
