Abstract: PURPOSE: A cup holder for a vehicle is provided to contain various cups or cans conveniently by pressing and supporting a cup or a can with forming a partition and a holder plate, and to improve appearance and make the best use of space by containing small articles with separating the partition and folding the holder plate. CONSTITUTION: A cup holder of a vehicle is composed of a partition(100) installed in a tray(20) of a console with sliding vertically to divide a containing part(21); a holder plate(200) installed in the upper part of the partition to turn around a guide shaft and to slide along the guide shaft; and a rubber pressure bar protruded out of the holder plate to press and supporting a cup or a cup in the containing part of the tray. Shaft holders(110,120) are formed longitudinally in the upper part of the partition. The cup and the can are contained with installing the partition and the holder plate in the containing part of the tray. The containing part of the tray is used efficiently with separating the partition and folding the holder plate.
