Abstract: An apparatus for assembling the fuel cell stack of automobiles automatically, and its method are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and the assembling time and to prevent the deviation of quality according to a worker. An apparatus for assembling the fuel cell stack of automobiles automatically comprises a supply part(10) which supplies a separator(100) and an MEA(110); a lamination and sealing examination part(20) which comprises a transfer part for transferring the separator and the MEA so as to allow them to be layered alternatively, a rotation disk part(22) rotating so as to allow the next step to be carried out continuously, and a sealing examination part for measuring the sealing extent of the separator; and a final stack layering part(30) which layers the separator and the MEA normally passed through the lamination and sealing examination part, mounts an end plate to it, assembles a final module, and unloading a fuel cell stack.

Abstract: A stack assembling device for a fuel cell is provided to reduce stack faults by defective lamination, to maintain fixed cycle time according to a stack assembly, and to improve simplicity and efficiency of task.
