Abstract: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) gas mixing apparatus is provided to maintain the density of the EGR gas flowing into the combustion chamber regularly because the strong occurrence of turbulence of the EGR gas is induced. An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) gas mixing apparatus comprises a vortex generating unit which is arranged in the inner circumference of a heat protector(8) arranged in the inlet part of an intake manifold(2). The vortex generating unit induces occurrence of strong turbulence of the EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) gas. The vortex generating unit comprises a body(10) which has the diameter smaller than the diameter of the heat protector, and a spiral member(12) which is integrated in the outer circumference of the body. The end part of the spiral member is closely attached to the inner circumference of the heat protector. The spiral material guides the EGR gas towards the intake manifold.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A mounting structure of a CVVT(Continuously Variable Valve Actuation) mechanism of an engine is provided to prevent deformations of a actuator shaft, which is stably assembled between an upper part of a cylinder head and a lower part of a cam carrier with a simple structure of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A mounting structure of a CVVT mechanism of an engine comprises a actuator shaft(220), a cam cap bolt(150), and a cam carrier(120). The actuator shaft is assembled with the cam cap bolt and placed between an upper part of a cylinder head and a lower part of the cam carrier. The cam cap bolt is penetrated through the com carrier and the lower part of the cam cap bolt is coupled to the cylinder head with a screw-joining. The cam cap bolt is connected to a bolt assembling hole of the cylinder head. A first oil passage is formed in the bolt assembling hole. The oil inflowing from the oil main gallery of the cylinder head is provided to a journal portion of the first cam shaft, the journal portion of the actuator shaft, and the journal portion of a swing arm through the first oil passage. The second, third, and the fourth oil passage are formed in the cam carrier and proceed to each journal portion of the first cam shaft, the actuator shaft, and the swing arm.
