    Abstract: 본 발명은, 자동차용 연속 가변 흡기 시스템은, 흡기 매니폴드 하우징과, 상기 흡기 매니폴드 하우징의 내부에 설치되어 흡기 유로를 이루는 서지탱크를 구비하되, 상기 서지탱크(36)는, 원주방향을 따라 오목한 유로가 형성된 다수의 흡기 런너(46)와, 상기 흡기 런너를 회동시키도록 상기 흡기 런너의 사이 측면에 설치된 베벨 기어(48)를 포함하고 있으므로, 유동저항을 줄여 공기를 원활히 과급토록 하므로써 엔진 전영역에 걸쳐 흡기 길이에 따른 최대의 성능을 구현하고 작고 콤팩트한 구조로 장착하기가 용이하다는 효과가 있다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A swirl control structure of an intake port is provided to achieve improved starting ability of engine by controlling swirl of intake air in accordance with the operation condition of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A swirl control structure comprises an intake valve(30) having a valve stem with a stopper groove formed at the intermediate portion of the valve stem, and a valve face with a swirl rib(34) formed at the outer surface of the valve face; a mounting space(25) formed in the area of a cylinder head(20) where the stopper groove of the intake valve is disposed; a rotating pulley(40) having a shaft hole formed at the center of the rotating pulley so as to allow the valve stem of the intake valve to be inserted into the shaft hole, a plunger elastically supported by a spring, and a teeth portion formed at the outer surface of the rotating pulley, wherein the rotating pulley is accommodated into the mounting space; an oil passage(26) formed at the intermediate portion of the cylinder head, in such a manner that the oil pumped by an oil pump(62) is guided toward the teeth portion of the rotating pulley; and a solenoid valve(50) formed at the intermediate portion of the oil passage, and which controls flow of the oil flowing toward the rotating pulley in accordance with the operating area of an engine.
