상기한 EGR 라인이 연결되는 흡기 매니폴드의 내부측으로는 상기 EGR 라인로부터 입력되는 EGR 가스의 토출이 상기 흡기 매니폴드의 내부공간 도중에서 이루어지도록, 상기한 상기 EGR 라인이 연결되는 니플이 상기 흡기 매니폴드의 내측을 향해 소정 거리 돌출된 채로 형성되어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure of an intake port of a diesel engine is provided to reduce nitrogen oxide and particulate, and to improve efficiency by forming a wedge-shaped fine turbulence generator on a front end of an intake valve. CONSTITUTION: A fine turbulence generator(30) comprises a plurality of protrusions formed on an inner circumferential surface of an intake port(20) and arranged in annular shape so that intake air introduced through an intake tube(40) collides against the protrusions protrusively formed on an inner wall of the intake port so that particulate thereof are fined down. The protrusions are protruded toward a center of the intake port by 3-5mm. 12-20 of the protrusions are arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the intake port in annular shape at regular intervals. The total of sectional areas of the protrusions is smaller than 6-8% of sectional area of the intake port. The fine turbulence generator is placed on a location separated from a cylinder head side(21) by 1.2-2.3 of a diameter of the intake tube.
