Abstract: 본발명은운전자상태감지시스템에관한것으로서, 스티어링컬럼커버에장착된카메라를이용하여운전자의얼굴을촬영하고촬영된영상으로부터운전자의상태를감지하는운전자상태감지시스템에관한것이다. 특히, 본발명은운전자상태감지시스템의기능을사용하지않을경우스티어링컬럼커버에장착된카메라를숨길수 있도록구성되어클러스터에표시되는정보의가림현상이해소될수 있도록한 운전상태감지시스템을제공하는데주된목적이있는것이다. 상기한목적을달성하기위해, 온/오프조작을위한온/오프스위치와; 운전자를촬영하고스티어링컬럼커버의출입구를통해커버외부로의돌출및 커버내부에마련된카메라수납부로의숨김이가능하도록장착되는카메라와; 상기온/오프스위치의온/오프조작신호에연동하여카메라를커버외부돌출상태또는커버내부숨김상태로이동시키기위한제어신호를출력하는제어부와; 상기제어부에서출력되는제어신호에따라카메라를이동시켜외부돌출상태또는내부숨김상태로전환시켜주는카메라구동부;를포함하는카메라이동형운전자상태감지시스템이개시된다.
