Abstract: PURPOSE: A door latch device for a vehicle is provided to obtain stability during collision by design a door to be opened after collision and not to be opened during the collision. CONSTITUTION: A door latch device for a vehicle comprises a release lever(200), an open lever(400), a rotary lever(500), and an opening lever(600). The release lever comprises a hanging unit(260) and is installed in a base(100) by a hinge pin(220). The opening lever is installed in the hinge pin in order to be rotated with the release lever so that a door is locked. The rotary lever is installed by a medium of a rotary shaft(520) in the lower part of the release lever and rotates by the operation of wire(W). The operation lever comprises a hanging protrusion(680) located between the hanging unit and the rotary lever. The hanging unit is rotated due to pressurization of the hanging protrusion so that the door is unlocked when the rotary lever rotates.
