Abstract: 본 발명은 디젤엔진용 연료필터의 히팅장치에 관한 것으로서, 종래의 전자식 써머스탯을 배제하고, 대신에 간단한 기계식 써머스탯을 적용하여 연료 온도에 따라 히터의 온,오프 제어를 용이하게 함으로써, 연료 라인, 브레이크 라인 등의 레이아웃 설정이 용이하며, 작은 사고에도 와이어링 하네스가 이탈되는 문제를 원천적으로 방지할 수 있는 새로운 디젤엔진용 연료필터의 히팅장치에 관한 것이다.
이를 위하여 본 발명은 연료필터에 장착된 왁싱 홀더의 작동 홀더부에 스위칭바를 구비하여 히터의 트랜지스터의 접지 단자에 선택적으로 접지 또는 해제되면서 히터의 온,오프 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 기계식 써머스탯을 구비한 디젤엔진용 연료필터의 히팅장치를 제공하고자 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A heating apparatus of a fuel filter for a diesel engine is provided to prevent the separation of a wiring harness due to slight accidents and to facilitate the layout setting about a fuel line, a break line and so on. CONSTITUTION: A heating apparatus of a fuel filter for a diesel engine is composed of a fixing holder part(220), an operation holder part(230), and an elastic spring(240). The fixing holder part is fixed by a ring type sealing part to cutoff the fluid flow in an operation passage of a heater housing(100). The operation holder part is projected to the front to be selectively contacted or released to a heater(300) and has a switching bar(235). The elastic spring is mounted in the operation holder part and an inner wall of the heater housing to apply the elastic power to the operation holder part.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A shoddy fuel detecting device of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to sense shoddy fuel containing excessive moisture when the shoddy fuel passes through a fuel filter, thereby informing a user of a shoddy fuel supply before reaching a maximum limit of moisture content set in the fuel filter. CONSTITUTION: A shoddy fuel detecting device of a vehicle comprises a moisture level sensor(5) and a controller(7). The moisture level sensor is installed in a moisture storage unit(3) of a fuel filter(1), thereby sensing changes in the moisture level of the moisture storage unit. The controller calculates a moisture level change rate according to time measured by the moisture level sensor and informs a user of a shoddy fuel supply when the moisture level change rate is over a predetermined level.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel leak detecting apparatus of a fuel filter and a method thereof are provided to improve the safety of a driver by informing the driver when a measured value deviates from a normal value after measuring the difference between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure of a fuel filter based on a differential sensor. CONSTITUTION: A fuel leak detecting apparatus of a fuel filter comprises a storage unit(10), a pressure measurement unit, a control unit(30), and an output unit(40). The storage unit stores a normal differential value according to an elapsed time based on a time point at which a vehicle is turned on as a standard time. The storage unit stores the threshold value for each grade in order to determine a degree of deviation from a differential value which the pressure measurement unit measures. The pressure measurement unit measures the difference between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure of the fuel filter inside of the vehicle. The control unit measures time from a time point at which the vehicle turns on and determines whether the fuel filter is normal or not based on a normal differential value stored in the storage unit when a differential value is delivered from the pressure measurement unit. The output unit outputs the determination result according to the control of the control unit.
