    Abstract: Disclosed are a new porous structure and a method for manufacturing the same. The porous structure is a three dimensional truss structure assembled by crossing a three directional linear wire group having the azimuth of 90 degrees in space, has the light weight while the structural strength and stiffness are high. Moreover, a manufacture process is simple, so costs can be reduced. The three dimensional lattice truss structure consisting of a continuous wire group comprises a first linear wire group arranged in parallel at equal intervals on a plane, and a second linear wire group arranged in parallel at equal intervals by being overlapped with the first linear wire group to have the azimuth of 90 degrees on the first linear wire group, and includes a mesh for forming a fixed rectangular hole by fixing an intersection point of the first and second linear wire groups; and a third wire group crossed in a direction perpendicular to the mesh between the intersection points. In the three dimensional lattice truss structure, only two wires are crossed in all intersection points of the truss structure. The mesh is arranged in multi steps in parallel at equal intervals in a vertical direction on the plane, and the mesh arranged to be adjacent to each other is arranged in multi steps to move in parallel as much as an interval less than a pitch of the tetragonal hole. The three dimensional lattice truss structure is stood, so a plane composed of the mesh is to be a vertical plane.
