Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve a highly accurate radiation management by collating a dust collection requirement information for the writing with a magnetic recording written into a dust collection filter paper loaded into a dust collector of a radioactive dust monitor to determine the adequateness thereof. CONSTITUTION:A dust collection requirement of a dust collector is written magnetically into a filter paper 16 with a head 42 through a control section 40 or the like with a CPU, a ROM and a RAM and the like in response to an operation panel 12. Upon the end of the writing, the operation is automatically shifted to the collation mode which is indicated on a display 14 while a magnetic record on a paper 16 is read with the head 42 as moving through a card through 18 by way of the control section 40 and a feeding mechanism section 44 and collated with dust collection requirement information for writing memorized while it stays in the control section 40 to determine the adequateness thereof. When it is not proper, an alarm is issued and a correct dust collection requirement is always written into the filter paper to achieve a highly accurate radiation management.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce irradiation on an operator and to perform a high-precise sampling and radiation detection, by a method wherein a dust sampler unit is mounted in a spot which is low in back ground and is easy to maintain and inspect. CONSTITUTION:A holder stocker 36 is located adjacent to a sampling and detecting part 10 for radioactive dust, and a plurality of filter paper holders 42 whereto filter papers for radiactive dust are individually attached are stored in lamination. A lamination holder group in the stocker 36 is moved vertically with an elevating shaft 50 moved vertically. A holder extracting mechanism 58 extracts a given filter paper holder 42 from the lamination holder group to feed it to the sampling and detecting part 10 where a sampling and detection for the radioactive dust are performed. The filter paper holder 42 is then restored to the original position.

The first monitoring path 10 is provided with a card guide 14 and a plurality of monitoring cards 18 accommodated in a stocker 16 is guided by the card guide 14 through a transferring and feeding apparatus 20, while an absorption section 22 performs absorption of air dust to the monitoring card 18 and a writing apparatus 24 performs recording of the dust collecting conditions.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove the effect of the background by obtaining the background value with the background radiation signal equalized when the measurement is not performed while a subtraction is made between the measured radiation signal and the background value when the measurement is performed. CONSTITUTION:While the measurement is not performed, the detector 10 detects the background radiation signal which is converted into a signal by the counting rate meter. The output of the sample and hold circuit 24 indicates the mean of the background radiation signal. Upon the start of the measuring, the selector circuit 18 is changed over to the integrator 22 side and the measured radiation signal from the detector 10 is integrated with the integrator 22 and subtracted between the set voltage by the subtractor 26. The comparator 30 compares the background value with the radiation signal from which the set voltage is subtracted. The difference output of the two values are outputted from the terminal 32.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to record a measured result and a measuring range with respect to one object to be measured by one recording pen, by recording the measuring range dislay indicated by a range detection signal. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus is equipped with a recorder 12 for recording a measured result by a recording pen on the basis of the radiation measuring signal 100 of a radiation measuring instrument 10 which is, in turn, equipped with an ionization box type radiation detector 14 for detecting radiation intensity and a potentiometer 16 for displaying a radiation intensity detection signal to a meter and outputting the radiation measuring signal 100 corresponding to radiation intensity while the potentiometer 16 is provided with a range change- over switch 16a to constitute the titled apparatus so as to be capable of selecting and setting a measuring range corresponding to an object to be measured. Therefore, the measured result of the measuring range selected by the switch 16a is recorded and displayed to the recording paper of the recorder 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a measurement error due to the contamination of a collector pole with a radioactive gaseous substance being ventilated, by a method wherein an intermediate electrode is placed between an inner wall of an outer case and the collector pole. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate electrode 20 is placed between an inner wall of an outer case and a collector pole 12 in the outer case 10. A distance between the intermediate electrode 20 and the outer case 10 is set so as to exceed a maximum range in the air of a radioactive material. The intermediate electrode is formed in a spiral, and a terminal 20a is connected to a high-voltage power source 16. An ionization current measuring device 18 is coupled to a terminal 12a of the collector pole 12. A heating power source 28 heats the collector pole and the intermediate electrode 20. A radioactive gaseous substance is fed into the outer case 10 from an inlet port 10a and is exhausted through an outlet port 11b. A current is applied to the radioactive material at the inside of the intermediate electrode 20, and an ionization current flows from the collector pole 12 to the ionization current measuring device 18. This prevents the contamination of the collector pole by the radioactive material and the occurrence of a measurement error.
