Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to setting up an account for a service. A request to set up an account for a first service is received. In response to receiving the request to set up the account for the first service, a first login option and a second login option are displayed. If an input selecting the first login option is detected, a request to use first contact information for a user to set up the account for the first service is transmitted. If an input selecting the second login option is detected, a request to use second contact information for the user to set up the account for the first service is transmitted. The second contact information is automatically generated for the service and does not reveal the first contact information for the user.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing a local network using an electronic device, where the electronic device is connected to a router and a plurality of external devices, including a first set of one or more external devices and a second set of one or more external devices, on the local network. The user interfaces enable a user to apply the same network access policy to the first set of one or more external devices and the second set of one or more external devices or to apply different network access policies to the first set of one or more external devices and the second set of one or more external devices, respectively.
Abstract:
An electronic device, with a display device, a communication device, one or more processors and memory, displays a first representation of a first controllable external device, where the first controllable external device is situated at a location. The device detects a first input corresponding to a selection of the first representation of the first controllable external device. In response to detecting the first input, the device transmits instructions, using the communication device, to the first controllable external device to perform a function if the first controllable external device is of a first type or displays, using the display device, a user interface for controlling characteristics of the first controllable external device.
Abstract:
An electronic device displays a user interface of a first software application that includes one or more draggable objects and one or more control objects; and, detects a contact on a touch- sensitive surface at a first location while a focus selector is displayed over a first draggable object and a movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface to a second location that corresponds to a first control object. In accordance with a determination that the contact at the first location satisfies object selection criteria, the device moves the first draggable object to the first control object in accordance with the movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface to the first control object. In accordance with a determination that the contact at the second location satisfies first intensity criteria, the device performs a first predetermined operation that corresponds to activation of the first control object.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to providing media playback controls to a user. In some embodiments, methods and user interfaces for displaying media playback controls are described.
Abstract:
Systems and processes for operating an intelligent automated assistant are provided. In one example, a user request for a media item is received. Based on the user request, at least one media item and a description of the at least one media item are identified. A confidence level is obtained that an identified media item of the at least one media item corresponds to the requested media item. In accordance with a determination that the confidence level exceeds a first confidence threshold, a length of the identified description is reduced to obtain a modified description and the modified description of the identified media item is provided in a first spoken response.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to mail application features. In some embodiments, a contact identifier is selected. In some embodiments, an adaptive toolbar is provided. In some embodiments, document functions are accessed.
Abstract:
A device implementing a system to provide a set of controls for remotely controlling the output of content includes at least one processor configured to determine that user interaction with respect to the device satisfies a first condition, the user interaction being associated with a second device. The at least one processor is further configured to determine that a status of output of content on the second device satisfies a second condition. The at least one processor is further configured to provide, based on determining that the first and second conditions have been satisfied, a set of controls on the device for remotely controlling the output of the content on the second device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces related to sources of video data. User interfaces enables users to configure and interact with the sources of video data, such as for displaying a live video feed and a recorded video from an external source of video data. In some embodiments, a device provides user interfaces for displaying video from a video source and controlling external devices related to the source.
Abstract:
Events that are described in either structured data (e.g. HTML web page or email) or text in a natural language description can be extracted and entered into one or more calendars on a user's device. In one embodiment, selecting an add event command in a calendar application can cause the calendar application to search, without having received any search input, in a database of extracted events, and events extracted within a predetermined period of time can be suggested as events to add to the calendar. In one embodiment, an extracted event can cause a notification to be displayed to a user. Other embodiments are also described herein.
