Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may detect a collision or interference issues of a second UE and transmit information regarding the detected collision to a base station. The second UE may not able to sense the channel on its own and thus may inadvertently use resources already reserved or in use by other UEs. The information regarding the detected collision may include layer-1 identifiers (L1 IDs) and/or layer-2 identifiers (L2 IDs) corresponding to the UE and/or the second UE as well as additional information corresponding to the resource collision. This information may be usable by the base station in determining that the base station has previously communicated with the second UE and may trigger a resource reselection by the second UE. The UE may receive sidelink communications on one or more reselected sidelink transmission resources from the second UE.

Abstract: A method for power saving, comprising: establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a wireless device, transmitting, to the wireless device, configuration information indicating a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle time, a DRX on time period, and an offset time, transmitting an enhanced wake-up signal (EWUS) monitoring occasion for a DRX cycle, the EWUS monitoring occasion based on the offset time and the DRX on time period, determining that the wireless device can skip monitoring one or more future EWUS monitoring occasions, transmitting, during a first DRX cycle, a EWUS for the wireless device during the EWUS monitoring occasion associated with the first DRX cycle, the EWUS indicating that the wireless device can skip the one or more future EWUS monitoring occasions, and skipping transmitting the EWUS to the wireless device during the one or more future EWUS monitoring occasions.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device may perform random access to a base station in the context where propagation delay between the base station and the UE device is large. The UE device randomly selects a random access preamble from an available set of preambles. The UE device selects a time slot for transmission of the random access preamble based on a configured correspondence between allowable time slots and subsets of the available set. The UE device transmits the random access preamble to a base station in the selected time slot, with timing advance to compensate for a common delay. Thus, the base station, knowing the configured correspondence, is able to determine the time slot in which the random access preamble was transmitted. The UE device receives a random access response that has been addressed with a Random Access Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI).
