    Abstract: Un método de depositar metal sobre al menos parte de la superficie de una pared en un pasaje en una estructura, teniendo dicho pasaje una superficie en sección transversal menor que 2 x 10-11 m2, comprendiendo el método las etapas de: introducir y retener en dicho pasaje una disolución de chapado no electrolítica que comprende una mezcla de una fuente o compuesto de metal y un agente reductor, teniendo la fuente o compuesto de metal una velocidad de chapado nula o relativamente baja a temperatura ambiente normal; calentar después de ello dicha estructura a una temperatura de al menos 50ºC mientras que la disolución de chapado queda retenida en el pasaje durante un periodo suficiente para provocar que se forme una capa de metal sobre dicha superficie de la pared, y opcionalmente repetir dichas etapas de introducción y calentamiento.

    Abstract: According to the invention there is provided a component including a rechargeable battery and a method of producing same. The component uses one of an acid and an alkaline chemistry and the battery has an anode structure, a cathode structure, and a separator structure which separates the anode from the cathode and contains an electrolyte. The anode structure and the cathode structure are each formed from a composite material which includes electrically conductive fibres and electrochemically active material in a binder matrix comprising less than 50%w/w of an elastomer binder and the battery is formed to be structurally inseparable from the rest of the component.

    Abstract: A millimeter-scale pulse jet engine comprises an engine body that defines a combustion chamber, a fuel, an air intake, and an exhaust. The fuel inlet is arranged to inject fuel directly into the combustion chamber. The air intake and the exhaust are in fluid communication with the combustion chamber, and the combustion chamber is configured such that air from the air intake and fuel from the fuel inlet cyclically combust in the combustion chamber to produce exhaust gases.
