Abstract:
Catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprising Mg, Ti and an electron donor compound of the following formula (I) In which R to R 12 groups, equal to or different from each other, are hydrogen, halogen or C 1 -C 15 hydrocarbon groups, optionally containing an heteroatom selected from halogen, P, S, N and Si, with the proviso that R groups cannot be hydrogen and that the carboxylate groups are in trans configuration with respect to each other.
Abstract:
Catalyst components component for the (co)polymerization of olefins CH 2 =CHR, in which R is a hydrocarbyl radical with 1-12 carbon atoms, optionally in mixture with ethylene, comprising Ti, Mg, Zn, CI, and an electron donor compound characterized by the fact that more than 50% of the titanium atoms are in the +4 valence state, and that the amount of Zn ranges from 0.1 to 4% by weight based on then total weight of said solid catalyst component.
Abstract:
A liquid phase process for the polymerization of butene-1 carried out in the presence of a catalyst comprising (a) a solid catalyst component comprising Mg, Ti and an electron donor compound of the following formula (I) in which the R groups, equal to or different from each other, are C 1 -C 10 hydrocarbon groups; (b) an aluminium alkyl cocatalyst and (c) an external electron donor.
Abstract:
A terpolymer of 1-butene, ethylene and a at least a C 8 -C 12 alpha-olefin derived units, containing from 0.1 % to 5 % by mole of ethylene derived units and from 1 from 20% by mol of C 8 -C 12 alpha-olefin derived units, endowed with the following properties : i) isotactic pentad mmmm higher than or equal to 90%; pentads (mmrr+mrrm) lower than 4 and pentad rmmr not detectable by 13 C NMR. ii) intrinsic viscosity (IV) measured in tetrahydronaphthalene at 135°C comprised between 0.8 and 5.0 dL/g; iii) the melting point measured by DSC (TmI) and the C 8 -C 12 alpha-olefin content fulfil the following relationship: TmI -0.3 wherein C is the molar content of C 8 -C 12 alpha-olefin derived units and TmI is the highest melting peak in the first melting transition measured by DSC otherwise the melting point TmI is not detectable.
