Abstract: The invention concerns a process for preparing fine-particle mixtures comprising between 97 and 10 wt % of at least one amphiphilic polymer whose softening temperature is above 35 ~C, and between 3 and 90 wt % of at least one inorganic solid having a particle size of up to at most 500 .mu.m. According to this process the two components are heated to a temperature which is above the softening temperature of the polymer. The two components are then mixed, broken down in the molten state and rapidly cooled, to a temperature at which practically no separation occurs. The particles are optionally broken down further at temperatures of less than 50 ~C such that the particle size is between 50 .mu.m and 5 mm. The invention further concerns the use of these mixtures as detergent additives.
