Abstract:
A NEW MIXTURE OF (A) PENTACHLOROPHENOL OR ITS SALT AND (B) THE SALT OF AN N-NITROSO-N-ORGANYLHYDROXYLAMINE WHICH HAS VALUABLE AND NEW PROPERTIES, AND A PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING FUNGI WITH THIS MIXTURE. THE MIXTURE HAS A STRONG FUNGICIDAL ACTION AND IS PARTICULARLY SUITED FOR THE PREVENTION OF FUNGUS INFECTIONS.
Abstract:
2,5-DIMETHYL-5-FURAN-3-CARBOXYLIC ACID CYCLOHEXYLAMIDE WHICH HAS A GOOD FUNGICIDAL ACTION AND A PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING FUNGI WITH THIS COMPOUND.
Abstract:
Process for controlling fungi in which plants that are to be protected are treated with a fungitoxic amount of a compound having the formula IN WHICH R1 denotes a member selected from the group consisting of tridecyl and cycloalkyl with from six to 12 carbon atoms as ring members and in which R2, R3, R4 and R5 denote a member selected from the group consisting of methylene and substituted methylene with at least one of the groups R2, R3, R4 and R5 being a substituted methylene group in which the substituents are members selected from the group consisting of methyl and ethyl, the said substituents occurring once or twice in each substituted methylene group.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fungicide for controlling fungi, comprising Reynoutria sachalinensis Nakai which is a plant, a solid inert excipient and a surfactant as active ingredients and useful in agriculture such as powdery mildew in leaf vegetables, Botrytis cinerea, etc., of geranium. CONSTITUTION: This fungicide comprises Reynoutria sachalinensis which is a plant, a solid inert excipient and a surfactant as active ingredients. When a preparation is prepared, 0.1-95wt.%, preferably 0.5-90wt.% of the plant or an extract thereof is contained therein. The concentration of the plant in the application form is 2-0.1wt.%, preferably 1-0.5wt.% in the case of use for treating plants. Furthermore, the application form of the Reynoutria sachalinensis is obtained by air-drying, e.g. a leaf or a rhizomatic part or mildly applying heat thereto, drying the leaf or rhizomatic part, then powdering the dried part, subjecting the dried powder to an extraction treatment with ethanol, etc., partially evaporating the ethanol, etc., and providing an extract.
