El elemento de seguridad puede contener adicionalmente una microestructura de relieve superficial grabado, especialmente una imagen ópticamente variable (un dispositivo ópticamente variable, OVD), tal como un holograma. Un aspecto adicional de la invención es el uso de tal elemento de seguridad para la prevención de la falsificación o reproducción de un documento de valor.

The microparticle based pigment composition is characterized by a volume based particle size distribution, as determined by static light scattering according to ISO 13320:2009 EN, having a D(4,3) value in the range from 1.0 to 15.0 µm.
