Abstract: Un aparato para impartir fuerzas disruptivas a un objetivo que comprende: una lámpara de destello o un diodo láser configurado para facilitar la generación por lo menos de un pulso de salida que tiene un ancho del pulso de hasta aproximadamente 300 microsegundos definido entre un principio de por lo menos un pulso y un final de por lo menos un pulso, una amplitud pico y un intervalo de la mitad máxima del ancho completo el cual, cuando está representado en un eje de tiempo de un gráfico que ilustra por lo menos un pulso, se define a partir de un tiempo inicial, donde la amplitud del por lo menos un pulso primero alcanza una mitad de la amplitud pico dentro del ancho del pulso, hasta un tiempo final donde la amplitud alcanza una mitad de la amplitud pico un tiempo final dentro del ancho del pulso, la localización del intervalo de la mitad máxima del ancho completo a lo largo del eje de tiempo relativo al ancho del pulso que está más cercano al principio del por lo menos un pulso que al final del por lo menos un pulso; y una salida del fluido configurada para dirigir las partículas del fluido para la recepción de energía desde el al menos un pulso y la impartición de las fuerzas disruptivas al objetivo.

Abstract: An electromagnetically induced cutting mech- anism which can provide accurate cutting opera- tions on both hard and soft materials is disclosed. The electromagnetically induced cutter is capable of providing extremely fine and smooth incisions, irrespective of the cutting surface. Additionally, a user programmable combination of atomized parti- cles allows for user control of various cutting pa- rameters. The various cutting parameters may also be controlled by changing spray nozzles and elec- tromagnetic energy source parameters. A fluid con- ditioning system is adaptable to condition the water or air used in medical and dental cutting, irrigat- ing, evacuating, cleaning, and drilling operations. The air or water may be conditioned by adding fla- vor, scent, saline, medications, and disinfectants. In addition to the direct benefits obtained from intro- duction of these agents, the laser cutting properties may be varied from the selective introduction of the various agents.

Abstract: Un sistema de limpieza y blanqueado de dientes, que comprende: a) un cepillo dental que tiene una superficie de limpieza, estando adaptado el cepillo dental para dirigir radiación electromagnética policromática hacia la superficie de limpieza, consistiendo la radiación electromagnética policromática esencialmente en longitudes de onda dentro de un intervalo de 300 a 750 nanómetros; y b) un dentífrico que comprende un agente fotosensible en el que: (i) el agente fotosensible se adapta para reaccionar cuando se expone a la radiación electromagnética y es dispersado a través del dentífrico; (ii) el dentífrico se adapta para ser dispersado en un espesor que varía sobre una superficie diana durante el uso del sistema; y (iii) el dentífrico es visualmente incoloro y transparente, adaptándose por tanto para transmitir la radiación electromagnética, por lo cual una porción significativa del agente fotosensible dispersado en los espesores que varían sobre la superficie diana recibe la radiación electromagnética durante el uso del sistema, facilitando por tanto la reacción de la porción significativa del agente fotosensible dispersado.
