Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (X and Y are Cl or Br). EXAMPLE: N,N',N"-Tris(2,2-Dichlorocyclopropylmethyl)isocyanurate. USE: Various modifying additives, e.g. a flame retardant and a low smoking agent, particularly a cellular opening agent for a synthetic resin foam material, particularly polyurethane foam, or a hardenss increasing agent. PROCESS: Triallyl isocyanurate is reacted with a haloform and a solution of an alkaline metallic hydroxide in a molar amount of 70 times or more that of α,β- unsaturated bonds in the presence of an onium compound consisting of a quaternary ammonium salt or quaternary phosphonium salt having at least one ≥4C aliphatic substituent group as a phase transfer catalyst to give the aimed compound expressed by the formula selectively in high yield. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain light weight, ease of processing, excellent durability and improvement of the reflection characteristic by providing a conductive synthetic resin layer formed with a conductive film on the surface of a resin film surface to a surface layer or an inner layer of a synthetic resin mold. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin is coated with a metal or a metallic compound while using electroless plating or chalcocite processing. When chalcocite is used as a means for the provision of conductivity, univalent copper ions are adsorbed scatteringly to an urethane foam by applying heat treatment to the urethane foam containing a nitrile radical at a temperature of 50-120 deg.C in a bath containing bivalent copper ions, a reduction agent and an acid. On the other hand, a resin molding body is formed by using a thermoplastic or a thermosetting resin. Then a conductive synthetic resin is provided to either the surface layer or the innerlayer of the resin molding body.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prepare a hardly slipping rubber grip having beautiful matte appearance, by welding metal or ceramic particles to the inner surface of a vulcanization mold to impart a fine embossed pattern to the surface of rubber contacted with the welded coating layer of said mold. CONSTITUTION:A plasma spray film layer comprising metal or ceramic particles each having particle size of 50-150mum is partially or entirely formed to the inner surface of a vulcanization mold for a rubber grip. Subsequently, a predetermined molding material is introduced into the mold to mold a rubber grip under vulcanization to prepare a rubber grip having an embossed pattern corresponding to the surface of the plasma spray coating layer formed to the surface thereof. By this method, a rubber grip having beautiful matte high grade excellent appearance and compatible with a hand as well as hardly slipping when wetted water can be obtained. This grip can be suitable used as the grip of a golf club or a tennis racket, the saddle of a bicycle or a motorcycle and the grips of various tools.

PURPOSE: To obtain a foam having an excellent fire retardance and good adhesiveness to an adherened, by using a specified polyol having the limited number of functional groups and MW, and a limited amt. of ethylene oxide component. CONSTITUTION: In preparing a urethane modified isocyanurate foam by expanding mixt. of an org. polyisocyanate, a polyol, a catalyst, a foaming agent and a surface active agent, one or more poly(oxyalkylene-oxyethylene) polyether polyols having at least two functional groups and an ethylene oxide component of 10W50wt%{its MW is 500W1,500 in case of only one polyol used, and the average MW according to the formula[wherein M 1 , M 2 ... are MWs of polyols; A 1 , A 2 are amts. of polyols (pts.wt.)]is 500W2,500 in case of two or more polyols used}are used in the range of 0.1W0.5 equivalent to an org. polyisocyanate, and an alkali metal compd. of a carboxylic acid or a combination thereof with a tert. amino cpd. is used as a catalyst to give the titled product.
