    Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically perform the recording output of a character overflowing from a display device by preventing the simultaneous display and recording output of an input character from being performed in case of loading the display device, and performing the recording output at a time when the input character overflows from the display unit. CONSTITUTION:The display device 2 which displays and outputs the character with a prescribed number of digits and loadable on a main body, a means 81 to detect the loading state of the display device 2, and a recording output device 58 to record and output character information are provided. And a control means 52 displays the input character sequentially on the display device 2 when the detecting means 81 detects the load of the display device 2, and edits a displayed input character, and also, erases the input character being displayed starting from the one inputted first from the display device 2 when the number of characters exceeding that of digits possible to be displayed simultaneously on the display device 2, and transfers it to the recording output device 58, then, it is recorded and outputted. Meanwhile, when no load of the display device 2 is detected by the detecting means 81, the input character is transfers directly to the recording output device 58, then, it is recorded and outputted. In such a way, it is possible to select the edit mode and the direct recording mode of the input character easily.

The color-separated light is converted to an electric signal in the image sensor 10 and transmitted to an arithmetic control part. The color is caused to be a numerical value in this arithmetic control part and displayed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the common connection of electrodes of piezoelectric elements easily and reliably by a method wherein a flexible printed board provided with through-holes is used, where the through-holes are arranged at the interval corresponding to the arrangement pitch of the piezoelectric elements and are connected with electrode patterns respectively. CONSTITUTION:A conductive pattern 21' is provided on an upside of a flexible printed board 21, and moreover through-holes 25 are provided at a pitch nearly equal to the arrangement pitch of piezoelectric elements 1-10. Therefore, after the piezoelectric elements 1-10 are arranged at the ends of boards 23 and 24 and fixed, the through-holes 25 of the board 21 can be successively soldered to the electrodes formed on the upper face of the piezoelectric elements 1-5, and the through-holes 25 at the end can be soldered to a common electrode pattern 25' of the printed board 23, and the piezoelectric elements 6-10 on the printed board 24 side can be connected in a similar way as of the elements 1-5 through a flexible printed board 22. By these processes, the electrodes of the piezoelectric elements 1-10 can be connected in common easily and assuredly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of switches without damaging operability by turning the inputting function of an inputting switch into an inputting function at which a frequency is set at prescribed value and into a read frequency setting function according to mode setting. A CPU 13 turns a reading mode into a CRT mode and into an ink letter mode according to an input sent from a mode change-over switch 4. In the CRT mode, the inputting function of a double- functional switch 6 is turned into the read frequency setting function and according the input from the double-functional switch, the read frequency is set changeable. Thus the number of inputting switches can be reduced without damaging the operability of the device and the device can be miniaturized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a charger from overheating by connecting a temperature detector in series with a resistor connected in series with a DC power source and a secondary battery, and opening the circuit of the charger when the detection temperature exceeds a preset temperature. CONSTITUTION:A limiting resistor 3 and a temperature sensitive switch 4 are connected in series with a circuit for charging a secondary battery 2 by a DC power source 1 generating a DC. When an overcurrent flows to the resistor 3, the resistor is heated. When it exceeds a preset temperature, the switch 4 connected in series opens its circuit to break the charging current. The switch 4 employs, for example, a bimetal. Thus, it can prevent the charger from overheating irrespective of the value of a charging current.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To display a character always on an optimum area and to easily observe the displayed character by providing the LED display device with a data identification(ID) part and an LED display position changing part for driving a driver corresponding to an array of characters. CONSTITUTION: An ID signal outputted from a data ID part 9-2 is inputted to the LED display position changing part 11 and drivers corresponding to an array of characters are driven. In the case of a character for 6×24 clots, six odd-column LEDs out of eleven column LEDs and LEDs from the 1st row to the 24th row are turned on, and in the case of a character for 5×20 dots, five even-column LEDs and LEDs from the 3rd row up to the 22th row are turned on. Thereby even when the number of LEDs to be displayed in the display matrix is changed, a character to be displayed is positioned always on an optimum area of the display part.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To convert a displayed image into an oscillating image pattern, and decode the same, by integrally installing an oscillation output means for outputting an image pattern on a display image plane as an image pattern formed of plural mechanically oscillating projection parts, on a position designating means. CONSTITUTION: An image pattern on an image plane position designated by a position designating signal S1 outputted from a position designating circuit 1, is converted into a mechanically oscillating image pattern to be outputted onto a tactile disc 4. The image pattern is decoded by touching the tactile disc 4 with fingers, and the image pattern of an arbitrary image plane position can be decoded by moving a device, and controlling the position designating signal S1. An image converter AP2 is held by a left hand, for decoding the oscillating image pattern by a finger tip, and further, the whole device is moved to an arbitrary direction to move the reading position corresponding to a character displayed on a display image plane CRT of a personal computer PC. Thereby a keyboard KB can be operated by a right hand.
