CONSTITUTION: The portrait generating device 1 consists of a ROM2 which stores a program and data for a generating processing for a portrait, a CPU3 which edits portrait screen data by the program stored in the ROM2, a work RAM4 which stores data handled by a CPU3 when the CPU3 performs the processing, a VDP5 which generates an editing screen for the editing processing of portrait screen data under the control of the CPU3, a VRAM6 which stores image data generated by the VDP5, an NTSC encoder 7 which converts the screen data stored in the VRAM6 into an ordinary video signal, e.g. an NTSC signal, and a controller 8 which indicates processing contents to the CPU3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an image deforming method which is capable of freely and smoothly deforming image of a bit array form with a little memory capacity, and a device for the method. CONSTITUTION:When the vertexes of plural small polygons forming the same line (p line) inside a deforming object are moved according to the parameter of a Bezier curve, the vertexes of small other polygons are moved so that the whole of the deforming object may be smoothly deformed and the vetexes of the other small moved polygons are calculated based on the vertex after the small polygon of the p line is moved. At this time, as the parameters of a curve, the both ends cordinates of the curve (xb1, yb1) and (xb4, yb4) and cordinates of (xb2, yb2) and (xb3, yb3) controlling the bending way of the curve are used. The shape of each small polygon after a deformation corresponding to each calculated vertex is determined, an original image is deformed so as to correspond to the data of the small polygon after the deformation and the whole of the image is prepared.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an image deforming method/device by which the picture of a bit array system can be freely and smoothly deformed with less memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:When the apex (moving reference grid points (0, q)) of an arbitrary small polygon on the outer frame of a deformed object is moved to an arbitrary position which constitute the outer frame again at least after deformation, the apex of the other small polygon is moved so that the whole deformed object is smoothly deformed. The apex of the other moved small polygon is calculated based on the moved apex (deformed moving grid point (xd, yd)) of the arbitrary small polygon. Then, the forms of the respective deformed small polygons are decided in accordance with the respective calculated apexes. An original image is sequentially deformed so that it corresponds to data of the deformed small polygon so as to generate the whole deformed image.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To delay and output digital input data on a musical sound, a speech, etc., at constant timing in real time and to add a leading and a trailing edge envelope before and after the data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 102 generates sound source data based upon key operation on a keyboard 101, and adds and outputs envelope data. A sound source 103 generates musical sound data on the basis of sound source data and waveform data read out of a waveform memory 104 and outputs the data. A DSP 105 adds effects to the musical sound data or speech data inputted through an A/D converter 114 and writes the resulting data in an input data memory 115. The address of the waveform rise of the input data is stored as a read start address and the address of the waveform fall is stored as a read end address. The input data from the stored read start address to the read end address are read out of the input data memory 115 at constant intervals of time and the leading edge and trailing edge envelopes are added before and after the data and outputted to a D/A converter 107.

Then the color component data Cr or Cb are combined with Cr or Cb data having been stored in the color component memory by the processing of a preceding line to generate sequentially the display data, the data are transferred to a liquid crystal display module 12 sequentially and displayed, thus it is not necessary to access the image memory twice.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain magnification/reduction processing clearly at an optional magnification/reduction rate while leaving the effect of modification of component parts when generated picture data are magnified/reduced after any component part is modified by applying magnification / reduction processing clearly to original picture data at an optional magnification/reduction rate. CONSTITUTION:When two original picture data 1, 2 whose quantity is respectively large and small are prepared and a character 'square' is modified, the two original picture data 1, 2 are individually modified to obtain modified picture data 1, 2. Then picture data whose component part is modified are magnified/ reduced. For example, when the data are reduced with a small reduction rate, the larger modified picture data 1 are reduced, and after the reduction of 75% is exceeded, the modified picture data 2 are used, and the modified picture data 2 at the point of time of changeover are magnified to 150%. When the magnification reduction rate is being decreased further, the modified picture data 2 are being reduced. Any of the two modified picture data 1, 2 is changed over on the border of the switching magnification reduction rate (75% in this case) as above and then the magnification reduction processing is executed.

At such a time, the small rectangles (1), (6), (9) and (108 or the like to which no image data are allocated paint out the deformed four-sided figures in any designated color. Thus, the deformed four-sided figures (1)', (2)', (3)',...(24)' are entirely synthesized and an image (picture) B of a deformed 'mouth' is provided.

In this condition, when a music number is switched during reproducing music, the CPU 103 fades out music being read from an information reading section 101, while reads out the starting part of next music stored in the RAM 104 and makes it fade in, and cross fade reproducing is performed. During this, the reading section 101 accesses to next music on the medium and successively reproduces it.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the operation to correct an erroneous input by storing the selected input from plural data selection input means operated by each mode determined by a mode setting means and determining musical tone parameters in accordance with the respective storage results. CONSTITUTION:This device has the plural data selection input means 5, the mode setting means which selectively sets a 1st mode and a 2nd mode, and a 1st data memory means 8 which stores the selected input data from the plural data selection input means 5 under the setting of the 1st mode. Further, the device has a 2nd data memory means 9 which stores the selected input data under the setting of a 2nd mode and a musical tone parameter determining means 1 which determines the musical tone parameters in accordance with the contents of the memory means 8 and 9. The digit of the input of the input means 5 in the respective modes, i.e., digit input is determined by the modes and, therefore, the contents of the data memory means 8, 9 of the corresponding digits are updated simply by making the correction input again from the input means 5 at its time of inputting digits erroneously. The operation to correct the error operation of the digit input is facilitated in this way.
