    Abstract: An electronic musical instrument can execute a musical performance with two timbres mixed together by operating a single key, for example. Of the two timbres, a master timbre is set in normal mode and is stored in a first memory, while a slave timbre is selected in tone mix mode and is stored in a second memory. Each timbre can be altered as desired. To alter the master timbre, timbre switches are operated after the mode is temporarily changed to normal mode. To alter the slave timbre, the timbre switches are operated in tone mix mode. When the tone mix mode is set, this electronic musical instrument can permit a player to easily alter tone parameters such as the volume, pitch and attack delay time of each timbre.

All of the color information in the OSD images are reflected at the RGB images.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, image transfer method and storage medium by which de-framing 'through-display' is attained and power consumption at the 'through-display' is reduced by writing image data transferred from a YUV processor to an image memory at an interval of several frames and transferring the written data to a video encoder. SOLUTION: A memory controller 5 executes DMA transfer processing of YUV data and transfer processing of the data to a video encoder, starts data processing in response to a DMA transfer start signal received in a frame synchronization interrupt timing from a CPU 8, and writes in an image memory 6 the YUV data in the unit of frames received by a CCD 2 via a YUV processor 4 at an interval of several frames. The controller 5 reads the YUV data from the image memory 6 at an interval of several frames and transfers the data to a video encoder 11, by which the deframed monitor image is displayed on a liquid crystal display module 12.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a picture equivalent to multiple exposure of a silver salt camera with a very simple operation at all times by setting an image pickup device to a consecutive shot state that photographs a picture for a prescribed exposure period and selecting pictures only having pixels of a prescribed level or over in the captured picture for composite pictures. SOLUTION: In an automatic multiple exposure mode, a picture captured by a CCD 1 is fed to a picture memory 4 via a YUV processor 3. Simultaneously the captured picture is also fed to a video encoder 6 for through-picture display. A CPU 8 discriminates whether or not a pixel with a discrimination level or over is in existence in the captured picture and uses the captured picture for an objective of a picture composite when only one pixel as above is in existence in the captured picture. The pictures selected as synthesis objects because the pictures include the pixel with the discrimination level are sequentially composited in the picture memory 4. When the automatic multiplex exposure mode is finished, the composite picture data are written in a recording medium 9 and stored therein.
