The second interface is configured for connecting to one or more accessory devices.     Abstract: A pump for pumping fluid matter from a treatment site in or on a living being comprises three compartments. A motor-driven pumping element is provided for generating a negative pressure within a wound cover at or near the treatment site, and a motor for providing a driving force to the pumping element is provided in the a first one of the compartments. The pumping element is comprised in a second compartment, and a container for collecting liquid pumped from the treatment site is comprised or integrated in a third compartment.
