Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the cost, facilitate the maintenance, and make the apparatus as a whole compact by using a conveying mechanism which consists of a circular table rotated by a drive device. CONSTITUTION:By pushing open a door 12a in a forwarding port 12 a beer mug J is put on a table 3 while the table 3 is being rotated clockwise by a drive motor 21. The beer mug J is conveyed with its side between an inner side guide 8 and an outer side guide 9. During this conveyance, while the beer mug J undergoes spontaneous cooling in an atmosphere of cool air, the beer mug J is exposed to rapid cooling with cooling air forcedly blown on it from fans 17, 17. After thus being cooled, the beer mug J is stopped from moving by contact with the edge of an inwardly curved stopper plate 16 in a gate mechanism 14. The degree to which an adjusting plate 25 projects is adjustable: when a beer mug of large size is conveyed for cooling, the projection of the adjusting plate 25 is reduced or the adjusting plate 25 is removed and, when the mug is of medium size or of small size, the projection is increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a spindle motor which has excellent durability, cleanliness, etc., and which is improved in performance of high speed rotation and reduced in vibration during rotation by using hydrodynamic bearings. CONSTITUTION:When current flows in stator-coils 5, a rotor 6 to which a rotor magnet 8 is secured, the motor starts rotation, and a hydrodynamic pressure is generated between the upper surface of a fixing member 3b of a thrust bearing 3 and the lower surface of a moving member 3a facing to the fixing member 3b, and a hydrodynamic bearing is formed. A hydrodynamic pressure is also generated between the outer surface of a fixing member 4b of a radial bearing 4 and the inner surface of a moving member 4a facing to the fixing member 4b and a hydrodynamic bearing is formed. For this reason, bearings are constituted without direct contact between the lower surface of the moving member 3a of the thrust bearing 3 and the upper surface of the fixing member 3b and between the inner surface of the moving member 4a of the radial bearing 4 and the outer surface of the fixing member 4b, and this can cope with smooth and high speed rotation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve safety and durability by interconnecting a rotor and impeller mainly with a polygon joint construction capable of transmitting rotary torque to support the rear surface of the rotor and the front surface of the impeller by a spiral groove thrust dynamic pressure bearing. CONSTITUTION:The rear surface of a rotor 2 and the front surface of an impeller 10 are supported by spiral groove thrust dynamic pressure bearings 14, 15, and the rotor 2 and impeller 10 are interconnected by a polygon joint construction 21 capable of escaping axially and transmitting mainly rotary torque. Thus, the rotor and impeller can axially escape even if any thermal strain take place, so that the safety and durability are improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a blower to be easily constitutionally assembled and run without any troubles even in the start by providing thrust receiving plates forming each a thrust dynamic pressure bearing on the upper and lower surfaces of an impeller. CONSTITUTION:An impeller 10 is provided with a sleeve 11 which has a central hole inserted onto a fixed shaft 9. The sleeve 11 is formed on the lower end with a flange 13 the end face of which is finished smoothly to provide a rotary side thrust receiving surface 14. A fixed side thrust receiving plate 15 is provided opposed to said receiving surface 14 to form a spiral groove thrust dynamic pressure bearing. An end face of the intake port side of the sleeve 11 is finished smoothly and a spiral groove thrust dynamic pressure bearing is formed of said end face and a fixed side thrust receiving body 20 opposed to said end face.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the perpendicularity and parallelism of a polygon mirror by interposing a slide member between a rotary body and a support body, enclosing a hollow chamber wherein the polygon rotor is put by the support body and a cover body fitted thereupon, and charging gas which is small in concentration to air in the hollow chamber. CONSTITUTION:The slide member 10 made of a ceramic material where a groove 11 for dynamic pressure generation, i.e. spiral groove is formed is interposed and arranged between the rotary body 3 and support body 4, the hollow chamber 20 wherein the polygon rotor can be interposed is enclosed by the support body 4, the cover body 12 fitted thereupon, and a seal material 23 such as an O ring, charged with the gas which is small in concentration to air, and put in operation under reduced pressure. In this case, helium gas is used as the charged gas. Consequently, the perpendicularity and parallelism of the polygon rotor are improved and the windage loss at the time of rotary operation is reduced greatly to enable fast rotation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a loss in a bearing part, by respectively providing a spiral- grooved dynamic pressure thrust bearing between a rotor and an impeller and a spiral-grooved dynamic pressure radial bearing in a main shaft in a side opposite to the impeller, in a vertical type pump. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type canned motor pump provides a thrust bearing 11 and a radial bearing 12 between an impeller 4 and a rotor 1 and a radial bearing 13 in a side opposite to the impeller. The bearings 11-13 are formed respectively as the spiral-grooved dynamic pressure bearing which forms a groove for generating a dynamic pressure in a ceramic sintered member. Accordingly, the pump, as far as it rotates, supports a rotary unit by a fluid film enabling a loss in a bearing part to be less decreased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the titled polygon mirror small in size and light in weight, by holding a magnet on both faces of a rotor through a magnetic adsorbing plate which is inserted into a fitting hole formed on the rotor, and also, arranging a stator coil in accordance with these magnets, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A motor unit for rotating a rotor 3 is constituted of a permanent magnet provided on the rotor 3 or a magnet 7 of a secondary conductor, and a stator coil 6, a dynamic pressure generating groove 11 is formed on both side faces of the rotor 3, a receiving member 10 of thrust force is arranged so as to be opposed to said groove, pressed, and inserted and held from both ends, by which a thrust dynamic pressure bearing is formed, and by providing the magnet 7 and the stator coil 6 on both faces of the rotor 3 through a magnetic adsorbing plate 18 which is inserted into a fitting hole 8 formed on the rotor 3, a polygon mirror is formed. Also, plural fitting holes 8 of a circular shape for allowing the rotor 3 to fit in a cylindrical body are arranged and provided annularly on a concentric circle centering around a through-hole 1, allowed to communicate with the fitting hole, respectively, and a recessed groove 17 for fitting in a ring-like plate is formed on both faces of the rotor 3.

CONSTITUTION:Conduction paths 31, 32 are provided in a tubular body 14 and holder 15, a conduction path 33 is provided between the interior of the tubular body 14 and a fixed shaft 9 and a conduction path 34 is provided in the fixed shaft 9. Thus, cooling gas discharged from a cooler 29 enters a rotor chamber 30 from a gas introducing path and reaches a rotor 17 through the respective conduction paths 31-34 so that the rotor 17 section can be prevented from temperature rise.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize running by connecting an impeller made of a heat resisting material to a rotor and supporting both ends of the rotor and the front and rear surfaces of same respectively with a spiral groove radial dynamic pressure bearing section and a thrust dynamic pressure bearing bearing to make a fixed shaft of a cooling pipe. CONSTITUTION:An end of a fixed shaft 1 terminates in a motor rotor 2 or impeller 10 to provide a center fixed shaft, and an impeller 10 made of a ceramic sintered body is connected to the rotor 2 both ends of which are supported by spiral groove dynamic pressure bearing sections 12, 13. The rear surface of the rotor 2 and the front face of the impeller 10 are respectively supported by thrust bearing sections 14, 15 to dispose a cooling pipe 6 in the fixed shaft 1. Thus, the pressure receiving area of the thrust bearing section 14 at the front surface of the impeller 10 is increased and the cooling action of the rotor 2 is intensified to prevent the magnetic property of the motor 4 from degradation, so that a blower can be stably run.
