Abstract:
A call-tracking system and a method performed by a call-tracking system is provided where information contained in a trackable message received from a service provider and associated with a first telephone number of a first user equipment addressed to a second user equipment associated with a second telephone number is stored in a database. The message is also forwarded to the second user equipment, and if a trigger message comprising the second telephone number and the first telephone number is received by the call-tracking system, it is determined whether the two telephone numbers of the trigger message correspond to the previously stored telephone numbers stored associated with each other in the database and, whether the call has been made within a predetermined time interval. If the two mentioned conditions are fulfilled, the call is considered to be associated with the advertisement provided to the second user equipment in the message.
Abstract:
A method and arrangement for providing a personalised call greeting to an opposite second communication terminal (A) during a setup procedure for a packet-switched multimedia session. The opposite terminal is first identified, and then a file identity associated with the calling terminal and containing said call greeting is retrieved (3:2). The file identity is sent (3:3) to the opposite terminal, wherein the opposite terminal can playout a corresponding file as said call greeting if the file has been stored therein previously.
Abstract:
A Proxy Unit is connectable to a communication network and is arranged to enable IP Communication with a Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit receives and stores in a session data base a first IP address a device identifier and a unique ID of the Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit then receives from a Machine to Machine application a message destined to the Machine to Machine Unit and comprising the unique ID of the Machine to Machine Unit. The Proxy Unit finds the associated device identifier and the first IP address in the session data base, using the received unique ID. If the Proxy Unit detects no active session for the Machine to Machine Unit, it uses the device identifier to send a wake up message to the Machine to Machine Unit for enabling IP communication.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for controlling an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) system by gestures on a remote control involve determining a number of fingers touching a screen of the remote control; identifying at least one characteristic of movement by the fingers; based on the number determined and at least one characteristic identified, finding a corresponding predefined gesture in a set of predefined gestures; and based on the gesture found, generating a corresponding control command to be sent to the IPTV system.
Abstract:
Communication system comprising a terminal 2, e.g. a mobile phone, adapted to access information in an application server via an access network using an access bearer. The system conveys the capability of the access bearer to the application in order to tailor the information content depending on the capability of the bearer that is used for the specific access.
