Abstract: A method of controlling a programmable lens device comprising a programmable lens and an optical function controller, the programmable lens having an optical function and extending between at least one eye of the wearer and the real world scene when the device is used by the wearer, and the optical function controller being arranged to control the optical function of the programmable lens, the method comprising: - an optical function data receiving step during which optical function data relating to the optical function of the programmable lens is received by the optical function controller, - an activity data receiving step during which activity data relating to the activity of the wearer are received by the optical function controller, - an optical function modifying step during which the optical function of the programmable electronic lens device is modified by the optical function controller based on the optical function data and the activity data.

Abstract: Un procédé de coloration sélective est utilisé pour colorer un substrat (10), sélectivement à l'intérieur d'une première portion de surface découverte (S ) dudit substrat. Pour cela, le substrat est constitué d'un matériau (2) imperméable à un colorant en dehors de la première portion de la surface découverte. En particulier, le matériau imperméable peut former une couche qui recouvre une partie de base (3) du substrat dans une seconde portion (S ) de la surface découverte. Le substrat est chauffé de sorte que le colorant (C) pénètre dans un matériau perméable (1) qui constitue la première portion de la surface découverte. Le procédé est particulièrement utile pour supprimer une lumière diffusée par des parois d'une structure multicouche qui est portée par un verre de lunettes.

Thus the management system allows taking into account data relating to the light passing through the active lens as a feedback in order to finely control the active lens.

Abstract: L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un film en matière plastique contenant un composé absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet, comprenant (a) le dépôt d'une solution alcoolique de poly(butyral de vinyle) sur un film support transparent en matière plastique, (b) l'évaporation du solvant de la solution alcoolique de poly(butyral de vinyle) de manière à former une couche de poly(butyral de vinyle) sur le film support transparent, (c) l'impression de la couche de poly(butyral de vinyle) avec une encre absorbant le rayonnement ultraviolet selon un motif, (d) le chauffage du film support transparent en matière plastique, revêtu de la couche de poly(butyral de vinyle) imprimée pour transférer au moins une partie de l'absorbeur UV de la couche de poly(butyral de vinyle) vers le film support en matière plastique, (e) l'élimination de la couche de poly(butyral de vinyle), de préférence par lavage avec un solvant approprié. L'invention concerne également le film obtenu par ce procédé et l'utilisation de ce film pour la fabrication d'un élément photochromique à comportement photochromique spatialement non uniforme.
