Abstract: A new and improved method of making aqueous, emulsified antifoam compositions is provided in which a silicone oil, a silazane-treated silica filler and emulsifiers are used. The technique permits the silicone oil and silica filler to be added to the composition, independently and directly, and thus avoids the need for first making an antifoam compound of these ingredients.
