Abstract: The shelf or cupboard base can be reinforced at the sides by a rail (1) of substantially rectangular or square cross-section with arms (2, 3, 4, 5) at right angles to each other. One of the four sides is open. One upright arm (5) extends only half way to form between the end (6) of the arm (5) and the end (7) of the horizontal upper arm (3) a slit which is open in the longitudinal direction of the rail. The rail can be pushed by this slit onto the end (11) of the shelf base (9) where it is fastened by the horizontal upper arm (3) resting on the surface (10) of the base while the end of the arm (5) contacts the underneath (12) of the base (9).

Abstract: The partition holder (1) for glass or laminated partitions on shop shelves is adapted for displacement on a clamping on a clamping strip mounted between the rear wall and the shelf edge. The upper end of the short arm (3) of the holder (1) is provided with a lug-type projecting strip (6) which forms with the arm (3) a groove (7) which is open to the top. When inserting the holder (1) in the clamping strip the lug of the strip (6) engages in the groove (11) which is formed by the hook-shaped curved upper end (10) of the clamping strip. The upper end (6, 7) of the holder arm (3) moves like a hinge about the hooked end (8, 10) of the clamping strip.
