Abstract: Mixtures of optical brighteners containing 0.05 to 1% of a 4-benzoxazolystilbene derivative and 1 to 0.05% of a 1,4-bis-benzoxazolyl- or bis-benzthiazolyl-naphthalene derivative. These mixtures show a higher degree of whiteness than an equal amount of only one of the two components.
