Mit diesem System und Verfahren werden mehrere disparate Dienste, die von verschiedenen Partnern angeboten werden, über unverbundene, physikalisch getrennte Clouds ermöglicht, die als Index von integrierten Diensten dargestellt werden.

Abstract: The “Grid Security Monitor” tracks the security status of resources in a grid computer system. When a client submits a job to the grid scheduler, the Grid Security Monitor creates a security contract. The security contract comprises all the security credentials needed to access the resource executing the job, as well as privacy and security requirements. The Grid Security Monitor compares the security status of the resource to the requirements of the security contract. If the security status of the resource changes or violates the security contract, then the Grid Security Monitor notifies the client. The Grid Security Monitor has a user interface that allows the client to perform a manual security validation by asking the grid management system to verify the security status of the resource.

Abstract: Die vorliegende Erfindung stellt eine Lösung zum Verwalten und Kontrollieren von Dokumentenübertragung und elektronischem Datenaustausch bereit. Insbesondere löst die vorliegende Erfindung das Problem, eine Kontrolle über Daten (Dokumente, Bilddateien und Anhänge, die im Folgenden als 'Dokumente' bezeichnet werden) zu haben, die mehreren Typen von Datenübertragung zugeordnet sind. In diesem Sinne stellt die vorliegende Erfindung ein Nabe-Speiche-Datenübertragungsmodell bereit, um mannigfaltige Vorteile hinsichtlich der Leistungsfähigkeit, Wirtschaftlichkeit, Flexibilität und Kontrolle zu erzielen. Diese Art von gezielter Kontrolle ist entscheidend bei der gemeinsamen Nutzung von Daten in einer Cloud-Computing-Umgebung. Dieser Lösungsansatz ist außerdem hilfreich für Hilfsprogramme zur Prozessoptimierung und kann durch die Erstellung und Verwaltung von Zugangskontrolllisten (ACL) für das Nabe-Speiche-System verstärkt werden. Insoweit löst die vorliegende Erfindung das Problem, Zugangskontrolllisten automatisch aktualisieren zu können, wenn Dokumente weitergeleitet oder auf andere Weise zwischen mehreren Personen ausgetauscht werden. Diese ACLs werden durch die Analyse, an wen (und wohin) ein Dokument gesendet wurde, auf dem neuesten Stand gehalten.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for establishing inter-Cloud resource sharing agreements and policies such that dynamic expansion/contraction of Cloud resource requests can be seamlessly addressed without requiring physical build-out of the primary Cloud infrastructure and advertising the need for additional resources or the offer to provide additional resources can be brokered through an established marketplace. The financial transaction will support a symbiotic bi- lateral fair- share method that better aligns with an alternating supplier/consumer business model. Using this system and method will decrease the amount of time needed to respond to a given Cloud service request while advantaging a resource sharing model amongst established Cloud providers.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for provisioning Cloud services by establishing a Cloud services catalog using a Cloud service bus within a Cloud computing environment. In one embodiment, there is a Cloud services catalog manager configured to connect a plurality of Clouds in a Cloud computing environment; maintain a catalog of integrated Cloud services from the plurality of connected Clouds; and display an index of the integrated services on a user interface. Using this system and method will allow for multiple disparate services, offered by different partners, across unrelated, physically distinct Clouds to be presented as an index of integrated services.
