Abstract: A circuit comprises a semiconductor switch comprising a control connection (G) and a load stretch (D-S) and is switched between two supply voltages (V1,V2). Two switches (SW1,SW2) for blocking control lie between a supply voltage (V2) and the control connection (G) and between the control connection and a load connection (LA) respectively. Abstract: A first switch transformer (1) links to input (EK1,EK2) and output (AK1,AK2) terminals and has a switch (S12) to influence power drawn and to be triggered in a pulsed cycle by a first triggering signal (SG1). A second switch transformer (2) also links to the terminals and has a switch (S22) to influence the power drawn and to be triggered in a pulsed cycle by a second triggering signal (SG2). An Independent claim is also included for a method for converting an input voltage into an output voltage.
