Abstract: A plate belt of a moving walkway has plates arranged in succession in a movement direction and between two mutually parallel link chains formed by chain links of different widths. Each chain link is connected with one of the plates by at least one fastening device. The fastening devices include a fastening bolt and a cup washer, wherein the cup washer has a cup base ring and a cup collar encircling the cup base ring. The inner height of the cup collar corresponds with the thickness of at least one chain link strap of the chain link and the inner diameter of the cup collar is greater than the outer diameter of the region of the fastening bolt bearing against the cup base ring in the mounted state.

Abstract: The invention relates to a step (4) of an escalator or a plate (14) of a moving walkway. This comprises a tread element (40) and a support body (30) with a base (31), wherein the tread element (40) comprises at least two sub-elements (41, 42, 43) and each sub-element (41, 42, 43) is bounded in the areal extent thereof by two parallel end sides (45, 46) extending in the intended direction (X) of movement of the step (4, 304) or plate (14, 114) and two edge sides (47, 48, 147, 148) arranged orthogonally to the end sides (45, 46). The at least two sub-elements (41, 42, 43) are arranged in a predetermined sequence on the base (31) of the support body (30). Sub-elements (41, 42, 43) arranged adjacent to one another respectively bear against one another by one of the end sides (45, 46) thereof, wherein a sub-element (41, 42) previously arranged on the base (31) is secured to the support body (30) by the respective sub-element (42, 43) subsequently arranged on the base (31).

Abstract: A safety brake of an escalator or moving walkway includes at least one locking member, which is arranged so as to adopt a release setting or locking setting by means of a pivot movement. The locking member in the locking setting engages in at least one moved part of the escalator or the moving walkway and blocks this. In addition, the safety brake comprises a linear guide by which the locking member is linearly guided between a first position and a second position. The linear guide is mounted on a stationary part of the escalator or the moving walkway by a pivot axle.

Abstract: This application relates to a method for installing a support structure for a passenger transport system in a construction. The support structure comprises a framework made of load-bearing framework components connected to each other. Moreover, a balustrade fastening region, to which in the installed state at least a part of a balustrade is fastened, is formed at each support, so that static and dynamic loads acting on the balustrade are transmissible directly to the carrying structure by way of the supports.

Abstract: A fastening device for connecting a step of an escalator or a pallet of a moving walkway with at least one traction means. The fastening device includes a shoulder element, a wedge type connector and a projection. The shoulder and projection are each oppositely located on the step/pallet and traction means to be joined. The shoulder is provided with an opening through which, in the mounted state of the fastening device, the projection extends. The wedge type connector is positioned at least partially between the shoulder and the projection to engage the with the projection to fix the step or pallet against the traction means in a pre-tensioned manner.
