SOLUTION: The retardation film comprises a cellulose acylate satisfying the following conditions (A) to (C); (A) a total of acetyl substitution degrees in the 2-, 3- and 6-positions is 0.03-0.25, (B) a total of substitution degrees of ≥3C substituents in the 2-, 3- and 6-positions is 2.20-2.80, (C) a substitution degree of ≥3C substituents in the 6-positions is ≥0.88. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide endless belt for an electrophotographic apparatus suitable for intermediate transfer and/or fixation in the electrophotographic apparatus and excellent in toner cleaning performance and glossiness. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the polyimide endless belt, at least the outer periphery of a workpiece is polished using a lapping film as an abradant at an average peripheral speed of the workpiece of ≥0.5 m/sec in polishing. A higher effect is brought about by combining the manufacturing method with one or more of the following techniques: a polyimide endless belt is polished under a contact pressure of ≥1 kPa between a lapping film and the belt; a polyimide endless belt is polished by turning a lapping film in a plane direction; a fluorine-containing compound is added to a polyimide endless belt; a step of preparing a powder dispersion consisting of the whole quantity of powder, the whole quantity of a catalyst, the whole quantity of a resistance control agent, 10-50 wt.% of the whole quantity of polyamic acid and 10-80 wt.% of the whole quantity of a solvent, contained in a polyimide endless belt is interposed; the powder dispersion is subjected to supersonic treatment. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently and inexpensively provide a porous carrier which has strength capable of purifying an antibody and the like without problems on a large scale and under a high linear velocity and has a large amount of adsorption of a substance to be purified; an adsorbent for purification using the same; a manufacturing method thereof; and a purifying method using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides: a porous carrier having the compressive stress of 0.01 MPa to 1 MPa at the time of 5% compression, the compressive stress of 0.03 MPa to 3 MPa at the time of 10% compression, and the compressive stress of 0.06 MPa to 5 MPa at the time of 15% compression; the adsorbent for purification using the same; the manufacturing method thereof; and the purification method using the same. As a preferred embodiment, the porous carrier can have larger strength by acting a long chain cross-linking agent having a functionality of 2 or higher. The present invention makes it possible to purify an antibody and the like on a large scale, at a high speed, and a low cost.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent having a large dynamic adsorption capacitance under a high linear rate in relation to various kinds of adsorbents, in particular, adsorbents for medical treatment or medical service and adsorbents for refining an antibody pharmaceuticals. SOLUTION: The adsorbent having a large dynamic adsorption capacitance under a high linear rate can be obtained by fixing an antibody-binding protein ligand to a porous carrier of which a median particle size is 30 to 65 μm, and can be used suitably for the refining of various kinds of target objects (in particular, refining of antibody pharmaceuticals) using an affinity chromatography and the adsorbents for medical treatment or medical service. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily and at low cost a porous carrier which has a strength enough to purify an antibody or the like in large scale and under a high linear velocity and of which the adsorption amount of a purification target object is large, an adsorbent for purification using the same, a manufacturing method of the same and a purification method using the same.SOLUTION: A porous carrier, an adsorbent for purification using the same, a manufacturing method of the same and a purification method using the same are disclosed. Regarding the porous carrier, a compression stress under compression of 5% is 0.01 MPa or more and 1 MPa or less, a compression stress under compression of 10% is 0.03 MPa or more and 3 MPa or less and a compression stress under compression of 15% is 0.06 MPa or more and 5 MPa or less. A strength of the porous carrier can be increased by action of two or more functionalities of a long-chain crosslinking agent. An antibody or the like can be purified in large scale, at high speed and at low cost.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous carrier which has strength to be capable of conducting the purification of antibody and the like with large scale and under high wire-speed without problems and which has a large amount of adsorption of the substance to be purified; to provide an adsorbent for purification using the same; to provide a manufacturing method thereof; and to simply and inexpensively provide the purification process using the same. SOLUTION: The porous carrier is characterized in that: the compression stress at 5% compression is from 0.01 MPa or more to 1 MPa or less; the compression stress at 10% compression is from 0.03 MPa or more to 3 MPa or less; and the compression stress at 15% compression is from 0.06 MPa or more to 5 MPa or less. Also the adsorbent using the same, the manufacturing method thereof and the purification method using the same are provided. As a preferable embodiment, the strength of the porous carrier can be enlarged by causing a long-chain cross-linker with two or more functions to act. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein long time operation is impossible because curing is advanced in a stirring tank under stirring and mixing when a polyimide is obtained using the curing reaction of polyamic acid in the vicinity of the normal temperature by large amount charge or intermittent molding and a cured matter is produced in piping or a mixer during the stoppage of operation in the case of continuous mixing using a static mixer for preliminarily separating polyamic acid and a curing agent to mix them immediately before molding not only to make it difficult to normally feed polyamic acid and the curing agent but also to have to frequently perform maintenance for removing the cured matter. SOLUTION: This polyimide molding method has a step for mixing a polyamic acid solution, a dehydrating ring closing agent and a catalyst at a temperature sufficiently delaying curing reaction to obtain a mixture, a step for storing the mixture and a step having a molding part for curing the mixture at the temperature or above and supplying the mixture to the molding part from a storage tank continuously or intermittently. SOLUTION: The retardation film contains: a polymer (A-1) obtained by using diallyl phthalate as a raw material monomer; and a polymer (B) satisfying Re(450)/Re(550)≤1.27 (wherein Re(450) is a retardation value of the light having 450 nm wavelength; and Re(550) is that of the light having 550 nm wavelength).
