Provided are an internal olefin sulfonate composition which is capable of sufficiently enhancing foamability, foam spreadability, and foam dissipation property, and a cleansing composition containing the same. The internal olefin sulfonate composition comprises (A) an internal olefin sulfonate having 16 carbon atoms and (B) an internal olefin sulfonate having 14 carbon atoms, wherein a content mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B), (A/B), is from 10/90 to 70/30, and a content of the internal olefin sulfonate having 18 or more carbon atoms is 5% by mass or less.

Provided is an internal olefin sulfonate composition which is capable of exerting good foamability together with good volume of foam, foaming speed, foam dissipation property, foam quality, foam durability in the presence of sebum, and volume of foam in the presence of sebum at high levels, and a cleansing composition containing the same. The internal olefin sulfonate composition comprises (A) an internal olefin sulfonate having 16 carbon atoms and/or (B) an internal olefin sulfonate having 18 carbon atoms, in which a total content of the component (A) and the component (B) is from 50 to 100% by mass, a content mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B), (A/B), is from 91/9 to 100/0, a content of the internal olefin sulfonate in which a sulfonate group is present at a C-2 position is 25% by mass or less, and in which a mass ratio of a content of a hydroxy form in the internal olefin sulfonate of the component (A) and the component (B) to a content of an olefin form in the internal olefin sulfonate of the component (A) and the component (B), (hydroxy form/olefin form), is from 75/25 to 100/0.

The present invention relates to a water-based ink for ink-jet printing which not only satisfies a high optical density but also exhibits an excellent high lighter-fastness; a water dispersion used for the water-based ink; and a method for producing a print using the water-based ink. There are provided a water dispersion for ink-jet printing comprising (i) (A-1) polymer particles containing a colorant, (B) polymer particles and (C) the water-insoluble organic compound, or (ii) (A-2) self-dispersible pigment, (B) polymer particles and (C) the water-insoluble organic compound; a water-based ink containing the water dispersion; and a method for producing a print using the water-based ink.

The present invention provides a thickening/foam-promoting agent having thickening/foam-promoting properties and a low odor, as well as a detergent composition containing the same therein. The thickening/foam-promoting agent is composed of the following component (A): (A) a compound represented by the following general formula (1) : R 1 O-(PO) n /(EO) m -R 2 (1) (wherein, R 1 represents a linear alkyl or an alkenyl group having 8 to 10 carbon atoms, PO represents a propyleneoxy group, EO represents an ethyleneoxy group, an average added molar number n represents a number of 1.5 to 3.0, an average added molar number m represents a number of 0 to 1.0, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group), wherein, the content of an alcohol of the formula (1), wherein n=0, m=0 and R 2 is a hydrogen atom, is not more than 3000 ppm, and the detergent composition contains the component (A) and a surfactant (B).
