Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable optimal sorting operation, as the thickness of the treated product is kept in an optimal range as much as possible on a shaking type sorting plate, by changing the cycle of the opening degree control based on information on the layer thickness of the treated product on the sorting plate so as to cope with the change in the layer thickness of the treated product suitably. CONSTITUTION:This sorter is provided with a layer thickness detector S1 for detecting the layer thickness of the treated product on the shaking type sorting plate attached to a sorter after threshing, and with a controlling means H for controlling the grain leak opening of the sorting plate, based on information from the detector S1, in an certain control cycle so that the layer thickness is kept in an optimal range. When the layer thickness of the treated product exceeds a certain hedge value over the optical range, or when the layer thickness changes at a larger rate than the prescribed rate, an auxiliary opening control is performed so that the grain leak opening is controlled at a shorter cycle than the prescribed one.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a combine harvester designed to avoid sorting disorders such as third loss increase or grain injuries by proper vehicle speed control based on information predicting the development of an excessiveness of the amount of a harvest to be sorted. CONSTITUTION:A control means H increasing the throughput capacity of a sorter as the amount of a harvest to be sorted dropping from a threshing chamber increases and operating a speed change gear 12 in order to maintain the engine load detected by relevant means S7, H within a target load range, performs a vehicle speed control in such a state as not to exceed an upper limit speed set as the maximum vehicle speed detected; when the amount of a harvest to be sorted exceeds an upper limit of the throughput capacity, the set upper limit vehicle speed is corrected to a set lower speed. At the same time, when the above correction is continuously carried out several or specified times or more in the preceding process in a reaping field, the maximum value of the grain culm feed to the threshing chamber is stored, and when the throughput capacity in the present process stands at the upper limit level and the grain culm feed exceeds the above maximum value, the set upper limit vehicle speed is corrected to a set lower speed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a grain culm conveyer designed to be feedable with all reaped grain culms regardless of variation in their length and carefully deal with such grain culms without developing unthreshed culms along with avoiding unnecessary load increase. CONSTITUTION:The objective conveyer is equipped with (A) a means M1 to regulate the threshing depth at a threshing chamber A based on information from a culm length sensor S, (B) a grain culm conveying means H switchable between (1) the mode to hold and convey reaped grain culm on the side of the threshing chamber A and (2) the mode to feed all grain culms on releasing their holding, and (C) a control means to switch between the above modes. When the length of reaped grain culms is shorter than the threshing depth- controllable range, the sensor S detects whether the above length is at 1st mode where the threshing is possible at the chamber A in the mode (1) or at 2nd mode where the length is too short to conduct the threshing at the mode (1); based on the above information, the means H is actuated to backward feeding mode in case of the 1st mode, while to forward feeding mode in case of the 2nd mode.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect an amount of material to be treated existing on a grain pan by a sensor of simple structure by bringing the sensor of detecting the amount of the material to be treated into contact with the top side of the material to be treated existing on the grain pan and detecting the thickness of the material to be treated by the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A squeezing chamber A is provided with a receiving net 5 which transports fed grain culms backward while squeezing and dropping the squeezed material to be treated on the bottom. An oscillating selecting plate 3 is provided with a grain pan 7 to backward transport the material to be treated dropped from the front part of the receiving net 5 and a leaking and selecting part 8 which transports backward the material to be treated dropped from the rear part of the receiving net 6 while oscillating and selecting. A sensor S to detect an amount of the material to be treated existing on the grain pan 7 is brought into contact with the top side of the material to be treated existing on the grain pan 7 and thickness of the material to be treated is detected. By the sensor of simple structure, the amount of the material to be treated existing on the grain pan can be obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily confirm the position of an implement relatively to an object by visual check from a boarding and alighting port of a cabin. SOLUTION: A structure for opening and closing a door comprises the sliding door 49 slidably composed over a front closing position for closing the boarding and alighting port 40 formed in the transverse lateral part of the cabin 9 and a rear full opening position greatly opening the boarding and alighting port 40. The sliding door 49 is formed in such a shape that the lower side thereof is deflected from the upper side to a position a little to the front. The front side of the sliding door 49 is supported with a pair of upper and lower shaking arms 67 and 69 shaking the front side of the sliding door 49 to the front and rear. The rear side of the sliding door 49 is supported with a sliding member 71 sliding along a guide rail 72 directed to the front and rear and composed so that the front end of the sliding door 49 describes a circular arc track K1 and the rear end of the sliding door 49 describes a straight-line track K2 during opening and closing of the sliding door 49. The supporting position with the sliding member 71 is set at the rear end of the upper side in the sliding door 49 and the supporting position with the shaking arms 67 and 69 is set on a line L passing through the front and rear center of the lower side in the sliding door 49.
