Die Einrichtung umfasst eine Scheibe (52), an der die optischen Elemente (56, 58) gehalten sind und die um eine Drehachse (38) drehbar ist, um die optischen Elemente (56, 58) einzeln in einer Wirkstellung zu positionieren, eine Antriebsvorrichtung zum Drehen der Scheibe (52), eine Erfassungsvorrichtung zum Erfassen der Drehstellung der Scheibe (52), ein Einrastelement (66, 80), das mit mehreren an der Scheibe (52) ausgebildeten, längs deren Umfang angeordneten Rastkerben (62) jeweils in rastenden Eingriff bringbar ist, ein elastisches Vorspannelement (64), welches das Einrastelement (66, 80) auf die Scheibe (52) drückt, und eine Steuerung (14), welche die Antriebsvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit der erfassten Drehstellung der Scheibe (52) ansteuert, die Scheibe (52) in eine gewünschte Drehstellung zu drehen, in der das Einrastelement (66, 80) durch die von dem Vorspannelement (64) ausgeübte Andruckkraft in rastenden Eingriff mit einer der Rastkerben (62) gebracht ist. Die Einrichtung (50) hat eine Lösevorrichtung (70), die durch die Steuerung (14) in Abhängigkeit der erfassten Drehstellung der Scheibe (52) ansteuerbar ist, das Einrastelement (66, 80) entgegen der von dem elastischen Vorspannelement (64) ausgeübten Andruckkraft von der Scheibe (52) zu lösen.
