A watch-type mobile terminal includes: a terminal body; a sensor unit disposed on one surface of the terminal body, configured to determine whether the watch-type mobile terminal has been worn or not, and including a light emitting portion for emitting light of a first intensity at first time intervals, and a light receiving portion for sensing reflected light; and a controller configured to control the light emitting portion to emit light of a second intensity at second time intervals between the first time intervals, wherein the controller calculates a pressure value applied to the terminal body based on an optical amount of light incident onto the light receiving portion, and generates a specific control command based on the pressure value.

A dryer accessory comprising: a housing including a sensor hole; a sensor module located inside the sensor hole of the housing and measuring at least one of temperature or humidity; an energy harvesting module located inside the housing and generating a current according to the movement of the housing; a wireless communication module for transmitting the at least one of temperature or humidity measured by the sensor module; and a control unit for controlling the sensor module and the wireless communication module using the energy generated by the energy harvesting unit. The dryer accessory can directly contact pieces of laundry to accurately measure the temperature and humidity of the pieces of laundry.

A circuit in a mobile terminal for measuring heartbeat/stress. The circuit includes a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor having first and second green light-emitting diodes (LEDs); first and second LED drivers respectively connected to the first and second green LEDS and respectively configured to drive the first and second green LEDs; and a processor configured to control the first and second LED drivers to alternately turn on the first and second green LEDs within one driving period to respectively produce first and second PPG signals, and measure a user's heartbeat/stress using the first and second PPG signals that have a corresponding signal quality equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
