The present invention relates to a wearable terminal includes a display comprising a front side and a rear side, a first sensing unit configured to sense a biometric characteristic and disposed at the rear side of the display to be proximate to or contact a user's body, a second sensing unit configured to sense a movement of the terminal; and controller configured to execute a different function based on the movement of the terminal when a sensing strength of the biometric characteristic via the first sensing unit is greater than a threshold strength level, wherein the sensing strength is varied based on a portion of the user's body which the first sensing unit is proximate to or is in contact with.

The present invention includes a wireless communication unit configured to transmit and receive information, a user input unit, a touchscreen, and a controller configured to receive messages via the wireless communication unit, cause the touchscreen to display the received messages, group a plurality of the received messages in a prescribed group when a change command corresponding to the plurality of received messages is received via the user input unit, cause the touchscreen to display the prescribed group and cause the wireless communication unit to transmit a change request signal corresponding to one or more selected messages of the prescribed group.

The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method of controlling therefor. The mobile terminal includes a touch screen configured to display information on a screen having a circular form, and a controller configured to control two or more touch keys displayed on a border of the screen, each touch key to correspond to at least one or more characters different from each other, and in response to receiving a first touch input on at least one touch key, the controller configured to control an operation corresponding to at least one or more characters corresponding to the at least one touch key. A user can easily input a character and watch a currently used screen at a glance at the same time in a manner of displaying each of the touch keys of a keypad along with the border of the touch screen of the circle form in a size capable of being easily touched by the user.

A circuit in a mobile terminal for measuring heartbeat/stress. The circuit includes a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor having first and second green light-emitting diodes (LEDs); first and second LED drivers respectively connected to the first and second green LEDS and respectively configured to drive the first and second green LEDs; and a processor configured to control the first and second LED drivers to alternately turn on the first and second green LEDs within one driving period to respectively produce first and second PPG signals, and measure a user's heartbeat/stress using the first and second PPG signals that have a corresponding signal quality equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
