Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the foam shrinkage due to the diffusion of CO2 and to keep the appearance quality of a heat insulating box body over a long period of time, in the heat insulating box body formed using a foamable heat insulating material foamed by the addition of HCFC 22 being a foaming agent and water being an auxliary foaming agent, by utilizing ABS especially limited in its constituent components in the formation of an inner box. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating box body 8 is obtained by filling the space between an inner box 6 composed of a high nitrile resin compsn. limited in its resin constituent components and an outer box made of a metal with a hard urethane foam 7 foamed by the addition of HCFC 22 being a foaming agent and water being an auxiliary foaming agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure an excellent flowability in producing an open-cell rigid polyurethane foam even when a halogenated hydrocarbon blowing agent which exhibits a strong resin-dissolving power and has at least a hydrogen atom and a fluorine atom is used, and to produce a foam which has excellent thermal insulating properties and is used as a thermal insulator or a core of the insulator of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:An open-cell rigid polyurethane foam is prepd. by using a polyol component contg. at least 70wt.% polyol mixture consisting of 30-70wt.% arom. diamine-initiated polyether polyol and 70-30wt.% trimethylolpropane-initiated polyether polyol. Thus, the local degradation in the strengths of the foam due to an extreme orientation of cells is avoided, and a foam having strengths enough for a core of a thermal insulator and excellent thermal insulating properties is produced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title foam excellent in strengths and thermal insulation properties by mixing a specific hydroxylic component, a specific blowing agent, an org. polyisocyanate, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, and an open cell generator and foaming the mixture. CONSTITUTION:The title foam is produced by mixing a hydroxylic component obtd. by mixing a polyol component contg. at least 70wt.% polyether polyol which is a polyadduct formed between an alkylene oxide (e.g. propylene oxide) and an arom. diamine (e.g. tolylenediamine) and has an OH value of 300-550 mgKOH/g with 5-30wt.% nonamine active hydrogen compd. (e.g. ethylene glycol), an org. polyisocyanate (e.g. a tolylene diisocyanate prepolymer), a foam stabilizer (e.g. F-318, a product of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), a catalyst (e.g. dimethylethanolamine), a halogenated hydrocarbon blowing agent at least contg. H and F (e.g. HCFC-123), and an open cell generator (e.g. calcium stearate), and foaming the mixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To present invention relates to a thermal insulating box made of foamed thermal insulating material such as hard urethane foam having HCFC-123 or HCFC-141b and mixture as foam agent, in particular, ABs having a limited composing constituent is utilized as an inner box so as to prevent any occurrence of crack of the inner box or the like, thereby quality of product is assured and an environmental problem of destroying the ozone layer is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:This thermal insulating box is composed of an inner box 6 of which resin composing substances are limited and in particular having high nitrile thermoplastic resin composition molded with mixture of conjugated diene rubber/acrilic rubber = 55/45 to 65/35 as rubber composition, wherein HCFC-123 or HCFC-141b and its mixture as foam agent constituents and a hard urethane foam 7 composed of organic polyisocyanate having limited composition as isocyanate composition is mixed and filled between the inner box 6 and a metallic outer box 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating box having heat insulating properties, which are stable with time, by a structure wherein the heat insulating box concerned consists of rigid urethane foam and an inner box made by forming high nitrile ABS resin composition, which is obtained by polymerizing monomer mixture of vinyl cyanide compound and aromatic vinyls, the contents of both of which are specified respectively. CONSTITUTION:An inner box 5 is made with a vacuum former by forming flat sheet obtained by melting high nitrile ABS resin composition, which has 52-58wt.% of acrylonitrile monomer as vinyl cyanate compound and 42-48wt.% of styrene monomer, with an extruder equipped with a coathanger die and processing. After the inner box 5 is fitted to an outer box 2, urethane stock, which adopts CO2 generated through the reaction of water with isocyanate as foaming agent, is poured between both the inner box 5 and the outer box 2 for filling so as to produce rigid urethane foam 4 in order to obtain a heat insulating box 6. Thus, the deterioration with time of the obtained box is small and its stable heat insulating properties can be maintained over a long period of time.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve secular heat insulating performance by depressurizing and sealing the inside of an outer member including a room temperature activation type getter material and the like. SOLUTION: As a room temperature activation type getter material to absorb and eliminate at least nitrogen, oxygen, a water content and carbon dioxide, a combo getter including barium-lithium alloy is used for a gas absorbent 5. A predetermined amount of 'Toku-seal P(R)' 4 is filled into an inner bag member 3 having permeability so as to prepare the core 2 of this vacuum heat insulating body 1. In this case, after heat treatment is executed to the core 2 at about 150 deg.C for about 1 hour, the core 2 is inserted together with the gas absorbent 5 in a gas barrier film-made outer member 6. Vacuum exhaustion is performed by a vacuum chamber equipped with a thermal seal device, and the end part of the outer member 6 is sealed by thermal seal. At this time, exhaustion and depressurization are so performed that the initial internal pressure of the vacuum heat insulating body 1 is set to less than about 13 pascals.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive, lightweight vacuum heat insulating body, in which a powder is not scattered when the body is broken up so that a refrigerator can be disposed of efficiently and a house can be effectively heat insulated and constructed by a method wherein the powder material of the body contains at least a hard urethane foam powder and powder aggregates are formed by heating and dehydrating the powder. SOLUTION: The vacuum heat insulating body 1 comprises an outer cover material 3 loaded with a core material 2 composed of a powder material, in which the material 3 is made up of plastic laminate films including metal foils or metal evaporation layers. And the material 2 is composed of a hard urethane foam powder, which is prepared by crushing an expanded material including air bubbles to form the powder into complex needle-like structures comprising air-bubble skeleton and air bubble films. And since adjoining powders interfere with one another, the insulating body has low density and can be dried by heat and at the same time, the powder aggregates are formed by being joinded.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an expandable heat insulating material and a heat insulating box body having excellent heat insulating performance without worsening foaming efficiency of expandable heat insulating material by fixing carbon dioxide in the closed cells of expandable heat insulating material by a reaction. SOLUTION: This carbon dioxide fixing agent is obtained by dissolving a solid epoxide compound, a halogenated metal, an onium salt in an organic solvent and drying and removing the organic solvent. A premix component and a polyisocyanate component are integrally foamed using the carbon dioxide fixing agent or the carbon dioxide fixing agent is retained in a packing body and arranged in an inner box, or the carbon dioxide fixing agent in a rigid urethane foam is integrally formed with the inner box and impregnated. Thereby, carbon dioxide in the rigid urethane foam is efficiently absorbed and removed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve foaming heat insulating performance by integrating a carbon dioxide adsorbent being foamed into a hard urethane foam to remove carbon dioxide in the hard urethane foam by adsorption. CONSTITUTION: In a carbon dioxide adsorbent 1, calcium hydroxide is impregnated with a 0.01mol. equivalence of moisture per the calcium hydroxide and a vinyl acetate resin is formed as film by a wet type spray coating. A premixing component and an isocyanate component are mixed and stirred up using a high pressure foaming machine with a specified number of blending parts and injected into a box body hollow part 5 made up of an inner box 3 and an outer box 4 from a delivery head 2 through an injection port 6. The carbon dioxide adsorbent 1 is arranged previously at a box body flange part 7 below the injection port 6 and material delivered from the delivery head 2 entrains the carbon dioxide adsorbent 1 to fill the box body hollow part 5 being mixing integral. The urethane foam 7 filled is hardened with the passage of time to obtain a heat insulating box body.
