    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight heat exchanger whose adjacent pipes can be fastened for easy assembly without using any fastening member such as angle joint. CONSTITUTION:A spine fin type heat exchanger 1 having a number of fins 3 formed radial by winding round the outer circumference of refrigerant pipes 2 a belt- shaped aluminium piece provided with a number of breaks is wound orderly like a coil while a rotary drum 4 with a desired shape rotates. Next, this winding of said heat exchanger A is continuously pressed down with a roller 5 of which a portion of said fins 3 have a given width. Thereby, a continuous tapering groove 6 is formed in said heat exchanger A with said fins 3 or said fins 3 and said pipes 2 contacted closely with each other. An adhasive 7 is filled in said groove 6 to fasten adjacent ones of said pipes 2 or fins 3 on each other. Said heat exchanger A is completed when pulled off from said drum 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To optionally and surely set the direction of air blow-off, by rotatably supporting a deflecting plate at a nozzle-like air blow-off port and providing a deflector interlocked with the deflecting plate so that the are-shaped inlet and outlet parts of the deflector can be brought into and out of contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a lever 22 is set downward, the deflecting plate 20 is also set downward and a step portion 24' of the inlet part 24 and the outlet part 25 come into contact with each other. Then, the air from a blower 12 is oriented downward by the deflecting plate 20, and the air passing through the deflector 23 flows from the inlet part 24 along the outlet part 25 and is oriented downward further due to the Coanda effect produced by the step portion 24'. When the lever 22 is set horizontal, the deflecting plate 20 is set upward and the inlet part 24 is separated from the outlet part 25. Thus, the downward air on an oblique part 7 and the upward air on the upper side of the deflecting plate 20 flow horizontally because of their mutual attraction. The air over the deflector 23 is affected only by the inlet part 24, so that the and flows almost horizontally. Therefore, the direction of the blow-off can be efficiently determined.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain clear, hard, and tasty ice by preparing ice-making cycle in which water is flown on the surface of an ice-making element from a sprayer and by decreasing the circulation water amount successively from the start to the end of ice-making. CONSTITUTION:An ice-making element 2 equipped with a cooler on the base heat- exchangeably is arranged to one side of the body 1, and ice-making cycle is formed in which water is circulated on the ice-making element 2 from a sprayer 5 arranged on the upper end part of the ice-making element 2. An ice-making completion detecting device 7 which performs switching when the ice board arranged in the vicinity to the ice-making element 2 has a prescribed thickness switches ice-making cycle and ice-releasing cycle. An ice-making storage amount detecting device 10 controls the operation and stop of all ice-maing functions. A water controlling element 11 which is turnable in the sprayer 5 and on which a through hole 11' nearly equal to a spray hole 5' is formed controls the opening of both holes 5' and 11' by means of a timer device 12 linked with a ram motor 4', and thus, clean, hard, and tasty ice can be made.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect goods in a chamber from being freezed and hold constant temperature by forming a chill accumulating chamber in which chill accumulating agent is arranged and a heat accumulating chamber in which heat accumulating agent is arranged in a box body, and selectively introducing the heat of fusion of the chill accumulating agent or the heat accumulating agent in the box body according to the temperature in the box body accompanied by the fluctuation of the temperature of the outside air. CONSTITUTION:When a power source 29 is switched on, a compressor 12 and a heater 17 are turned on electricity and chill accumulating agent 10 and heat accumulating agent are accumulated to coagulate and fuse. At this time a fan motor 18 and a switch 34 are not turned on electricity by a relay 33 and a chill accumulating chamber 5 and a heat accumulating chamber 6 are effectively closed to accumulate. After chill accumulating or heat accumulating is completed, a thermostat 28 or 29 is turned off and completion is shown by a completing lamp and the like of the body. Goods such as foods which are precooled are carried in a chamber 2, when a power source is turned off, the fan motor 18 and the switch 34 are operated by using a battery 31 as a power source. When the outside air temperature is 0 deg.C or higher, the chill accumulating chamber 5 communicates with the chamber 2 through dampers 23, 24 and when chamber temperature is 0 deg.C or higher by a thermostat 32, the fan motor 18 is operated, a chill in the chill accumulating chamber 5 is circulated and held at constant temperature.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase a heating surface area and improve the turbulent flow of cooling medium inside of a tube of cooling medium, by providing a spiral groove over the interior wall of cooling medium tube. CONSTITUTION:A spiral groove 2d of a predetermined depth is formed over the interior wall of a cooling medium tube 2. The bevelled angle of this spiral groove 2d relative to the longitudinal length of cooling medium tube is arranged such that the angle alphab of portion which corresponds to a curvature 2a is sufficiently smaller than the angle alphaa of portion which corresponds to a linear portion 2b in a step of forming the spiral groove 2d, that is, prior to the formation of curvature 2a. By making small the bevelled angle alphab of curvature 2a, it becomes possible to make a portion which is less sharp acting to increase the flow resistance of cooling medium, and thereby allowing for the sufficient relaxation in the flow resistance to the cooling medium at the curvature where it is apt to increase, compared to the linear portion.
