Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an automatic ice making machine from being an ignition source, even when a combustible coolant leaks and fills inside the refrigerator with combustible gas in the automatic ice machine mounted on a refrigerator using the combustible coolant. SOLUTION: A unit comprises an ice checking lever 19 entering an ice storage box 18 and retreating from it by turning, an detecting means 118 generating signal when the ice detecting lever 19 turns for a prescribed amount and a drive unit 11 for driving the ice detecting lever 19 holding the other edge of the turning shaft of an ice tray and the turning shaft of the ice detecting lever 19, and by providing the detecting means 118 with a sealed switch or a non contact switch and providing the drive unit 11 with a motor having no commutator or brush as a driving source, spark is not generated to the outside from the switch or the motor and there is no possibility of igniting combustible coolant even if it should leak out.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the power transmission loss, in a damper device where the opening and closing of two flaps are controlled by one motor. SOLUTION: When a motor is rotated in one direction (the other direction) in a condition that both the first flap and the second flap are full close (full open), a first driving gear rotates the first flap in the direction of open (close) through a first driven gear 112 until the first flap comes to full open (full close), and also a second drive gear 111 inhibits a second driven gear 113 from rotating the second flap in open (close) direction by means of a columnar part 111b, and after the first flap is fully opened (fully closed), the second driving gear 111 rotates the second flap in open (close) direction through the second driven gear 113. Hereby, the power transmission mechanism from the motor to the flap can be constituted of gears, so the power transmission loss can be lessened.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice making device which is capable of stopping an ice making pan at an original point without locking a gear and which is high in durability and simple in structure. SOLUTION: A missing gear section 115a and a recessed surface section 115b are provided on a cam gear 115 so that they may adjoin each other. A normal gear range 114d and a plurality of low gears 114b are provided on a drive gear 114 which drives the cam gear 115. When an ice making pan is placed at an original position, the normal gear range 114d and the missing gear section face each other so as to prevent the rotary force of the drive gear 114 from being transmitted to the cam gear 115. At the same time, the tips of a plurality of low gears 114b are placed into sliding contact with the recessed surface section 115b so that an ice making pan 2 may be held at a horizontal position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect a maximum potating position of an icemaking tray and a position of an ice detecting lever by one switch means by energizing a final gear toward a direction of rotating the tray in an ice releasing operation when the gear is not engaged with a gear of a front stage in a cutout tooth region. CONSTITUTION:A cutout tooth region 17b is so provided at a final gear 16 as not to be engaged with a gear 15 of a front stage of the gear 16 when an icemaking tray 202 is returned to a horizontal position. When the gear 16 is not engaged with the gear 15 by the region 17b, the gear 16 is energized by a coiled spring 30 in a direction for rotating the tray 202 in a direction of ice releasing. Thus, positions of a maximum rotating position of the tray 202 and an ice detecting lever 205 can be detected by one switch means 45, and its structure can be simplified.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a high-precision pressure sensor requiring no adjustment by forming a thin section on a deformable substrate, and fitting a resistor strain gauge to it. CONSTITUTION:The center section of a substrate 10 is recessed against edge sections to form a thin section 12, a circular diaphragm is formed there, and a resistor strain gauge R10 is fitted to it. The strain gauge R10 is connected to three resistors having the same resistance value as that when no strain is applied into a Wheatstone bridge. When the substrate 10 is strained and the resistance value of the strain gauge R10 is changed, the balance of the bridge is upset, and the output signal is generated in proportion to the change of the resistance value to show the value of the load. The load is received by the thin section 12 at the center, a large strain quantity is obtained, and the strain gauge R10 is not required to be constituted of multiple resistors. A high-precision pressure sensor requiring no adjustment can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make switch possible when a difference between a reverse temperature and a return temperature is 10 deg.C or lower by interposing a spacer between a guide and a cap, where the spacer is formed thinner than a stroke of a bimetallic strip. CONSTITUTION:A thermostat comprises a non-conductive case 13; a pair of terminals 14, 15; conductive members 16, 17 housed inside the case; a leaf spring 19 having a movable contact 20 inside the case; a fixing contact 18 facing to the contact 20; a pin 22 adapted to abut against the spring 19 in the approximate center thereof; a pin holding guide 21; a bimetallic strip 24 for sensing a change in temperature for jumping movement; and a cap 25 for covering the bimetal and the opening portion of the case. A spacer 23 for holding the surrounding of the bimetallic strip 24 is interposed between the guide 21 and the cap 25, and is formed thinner than a stroke of the jumping movement of the strip 24. Consequently, a difference between a reverse temperature and a return temperature becomes 10 deg.C or lower due to resultant force of a stress of the leaf spring 19 through the pin 22 and an internal stress of the strip 24 generated by being held between the cap 25 and the guide 21.
