PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tyrosine phenol lyase improved with its L-tyrosine production activity. SOLUTION: This variant type tyrosine phenol lyase is a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence obtained by substituting at least one amino acid including 406th amino acid in the amino acid sequence of a specific sequence and having a capacity of producing L-tyrosine from L-serine and phenol, also a gene encoding the protein, and further a transformed body obtained by transforming a host cell by the gene are provided. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of obtaining a molded article excellent in optical characteristics such as light resistance, a molded article such as optical component obtained by molding the resin composition, and an optical pickup device using the optical component.SOLUTION: A resin composition includes: 100 pts.mass of a polymer having an alicyclic structure in at least a part of a repeating unit; and 0.05-5 pts.mass of a hindered amine compound wherein a ratio of a carbon atom inside the molecular structure is 67-80 wt.% and a molecular weight is 500-3,500. A novel piperidine derivative having a piperidylaminotriazine skeleton; a molded article such as an optical component produced by molding the resin composition; and an optical pickup device using the optical component are also provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing polyelectrolyte particles, in which solid polyelectrolyte can be produced with a simple method, wherein the solid polyelectrolyte maintains sufficient ion conductivity over a wide range of temperature, especially at low temperatures, and maintains sufficient mechanical strength over the wide range of temperature, especially at high temperatures.SOLUTION: The method of producing the polyelectrolyte particles includes: a step of dispersing a polymer in a polar solvent at a temperature or more of the melting point of a polyolefin site to obtain a dispersion, wherein the polymer has the polyolefin site and a polyalkylene oxide site in one molecule; a step of obtaining polymer particles by cooling the resultant dispersion; and a step of adding an electrolyte to the dispersion obtained after cooling so as to obtain the polyelectrolyte particles containing the polymer particles and the electrolyte.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated body which is excellent in anti-static property.SOLUTION: The laminated body includes a base material layer, and a surface layer which is installed at least on one surface of the base material layer. The surface layer contains a thermoplastic resin and an anti-static agent consisting of a terminal branched type copolymer represented by general formula (1) below. The numeral average molecular weight of the terminal branched type copolymer is from 1.0×10or above and 1.0×10or below. (In the formula, A represents a polyolefin chain, Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom or a 1-18C alkyl group, and at least either one is a hydrogen atom. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective synthetic method of a cytosine nucleoside compound. SOLUTION: This method producing the cytosine compound from pentose-1- phosphate and cytosine or a cytosine derivative by using a nucleoside phosphorylase having reactivity to the cytosine or a microorganism having the enzymatic activity, the cytosine nucleoside compound is effectively produced by providing a method specifically reducing degrading of activity the matrix or the product. This method produces almost no by-products in the production of the cytosine nucleoside compound.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant for toner, which uniformly and finely disperses wax in a toner, and to provide a resin composition for toner, and a method for producing a resin composition for toner, using the dispersant.SOLUTION: The dispersant for toner is used for dispersing a wax for toner in a medium, and the dispersant comprises a terminal branched copolymer expressed by general formula (1) and having a number average molecular weight of not more than 2.5×10. In formula (1), A represents a polyolefin chain; Rand Reach represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and at least one of them is a hydrogen atom; and Xand Xare identical or different from each other, each representing a straight-chain or branched polyalkyleneglycol group.

SOLUTION: The amino acid sequence of a mutant obtained by introducing a new mutation to a nitrile hydratase constituted of two kinds of hetero subunits and derived from Pseudonocardia thermophila JCM3095, and the base sequence of the gene thereof are provided. The transformant obtained by forming a plasmid by inserting the gene and introducing the plasmid is used as a catalyst for converting a nitrile compound to a corresponding amide compound.
