Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent release of a surface of a mandrel in the case of removing it from a hose by forming the mandrel of 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer having an orientation coefficient of the surface measured by an X-ray of a specific value or less. SOLUTION: The mandrel is formed of 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer, and its orientation coefficient of the surface is 0.6 or less, preferably 0.2 to 0.58, or more preferably 0.4 to 0.55. In the case of this range, when the mandrel is drawn from a rubber hose after vulcanization, release of the surface of the mandrel in a thin layer state is little. A shape of the mandrel depends on a shape of the hose for its purpose, and is generally a pipe or rod shape. It is preferable from a point of heat resistance that content of copolymer component of the polymer is about 0.1 to less than about 20wt.%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an electrically conductive rubber, composed of a vulcanizate containing a specific higher alpha-olefinic copolymer rubber and an electric conductivity imparter and excellent in dynamic fatigue resistance and the electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:The objective electrically conductive rubber is composed of a vulcanizate containing (A) 100 pts.wt. higher alpha-olefinic copolymer rubber which is a copolymer composed of (i) a 6-20C alpha-olefin (preferably hexene-1, etc.), (ii) an alpha,omega-diene of formula I [(n) is 1-3; R and R are H or l-8C alkyl] (e.g. 1,4-pentadiene) and (iii) 0.01-30mol% nonconjugated diene of formula II [(n) is 1-5; R is 1-4C alkyl; R and R are R , with the proviso that R and R are not simultansouly H] (e.g. 4-methyl-1,4-hexadiene) at (95/5) to (50/50) molar ratio of the components (i) to (ii) and (B) 5-200 pts.wt. electric conductivity imparter (preferably carbon black). The intrinsic viscosity [eta] of the hither alpha-olefinic copolymer rubber (A) measured in decalin at 135 deg.C is 1-10dl/g.

CONSTITUTION:A dicarboxylic acid component comprising 50-95mol% 4-12C aliph. dicarboxylic acid (e.g. adipic acid) and 50-5mol% terephthalic acid is copolymerized with hexamethylenediamine in the presence of a hypophosphite to give an oligomer, which is melt polymerized in the presence of tetrakis(2,4-di- t-butylphenyl) 4,4'-biphenylenediphosphonite to give a polyamide resin having an increased degree of polymn. without detriment to its good hue.
