Abstract:
A reactive paint to be completely cured in air with binders that bear ethylenically-unsaturated groups, that can be cured by radical polymerization either thermally or both thermally and by UV light or high-energy radiation in a dual-cure method. The paint contains a combined initiator system consisting of thermal initiators and UV initiators and reactive oligomers that are formed from addition compounds of a reactant of formula (4) and a reactant of formula (5) In this formula, X=—CO—CH═CH2 or —CnHm or —CO—CnHm. —CnHm is an aliphatic residue with 1 to 3 C atoms, whereby 0, 1, 2 or 3 X substituents are formed by —CnHm, and Y is a hydrocarbon chain of 3 to 8 atoms that can also contain heteroatoms. Also provided is a method for curing by radical polymerization. The polymerization is first started thermally under air and then is continued either thermally or photoinitiated under air or protective gas, and a use in paint systems, especially in automobile manufacturing or as a binder.

The invention relates to an initiator system for triggering a radical polymerization reaction of a preparation that contains monomers and/or oligomers having ethylenically unsaturated groups. The initiators used are open-chain and/or cyclic N,N-diacylhydroxylamines of the general formula R—CO—N(OH)—Co—R′. The invention also relates to a method for starting a radical polymerization reaction by way of the thermally initiated formation of oxyl radicals from open-chain and/or cyclic N,N-diacylhydroxylamines or the O-alkyl or O-acyl derivatives thereof having the general formulae R—CO—N(OH)—CO—R′, R—CO—N(O—R)—CO—R′ or R—CO—N(O—CO—R′)—CO—R′, wherein R, R′R and R′ are the same or different organic substituents and R can be linked with R′.

Method of producing coating films from coating formulations which are free-radically polymerizable under thermal initiation, characterized in that it comprises at least the following steps: a) coating of the substrate with the coating formulation b) thermally initiated curing of the coating formulation c) elimination of quality deficiencies in the cured coating material d) curing of the coating material to completion by UV exposure, and also to a coating formulation suitable for this method, comprising monomers containing ethylenically unsaturated groups and thermal free-radical initiators, the coating formulation being substantially free from UV initiators and the hardness of the coating material after thermal curing and subsequent UV irradiation being higher by at least 15% than after thermal curing without UV irradiation.
Abstract:
The movable partition system has a plurality of movable partition elements placed on a horizontal rail. Each of at least two of the movable partition elements has its own electric motor. Each electric motor has a current collector connected to it which passes along at least two conductor rails which are part of the electrical circuit when the electric motor is moved. These rails are connected via lines to a control unit which controls the power supply and the operation. One conductor rail is connected with a single line. On the other hand, at least one other conductor rail has a plurality of lines which lead to electrical connections or taps which are isolated from one another by insulators. This isolation permits the control unit to control the individual flow of current to each separate tap. This makes it possible to individually control and position the individual movable partition elements.
Abstract:
A drive gear for a guide rail with a partition wall or similar device in a hanging bearing from the drive gear, whereby the drive gear has a carrying roller and two guiding rollers. The guiding rollers have a truncated vertical section and approach with their casing surface as close as possible to the carrying roller's casing surface while still maintaining a minor gap. The guiding rollers are supported in guiding roller receivers in a way that the gap between the guide rail, passing above the carrying roller and the guiding rollers, and the carrying roller and the guiding rollers respectively is approximately identical.
