Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve effective teaching without increasing the number of monitors by switching a video signal from a remote station based on a switching instruction signal from an operating part and displaying a video on a monitor. CONSTITUTION:When the switching instruction signal is transmitted from the operating part 13 of a studio station 1, a master controller 14 transmits a switching signal to a sound/video transmitter 8, and simultaneously transmits the switching instruction signal to a remote controller 15. The transmitter 8 inputs the switching signal and instructs to display video signals from the remote stations 2 and 3 on the monitor 11. The remote controller 15 receives a switching request signal and transmits a screen switching request signal to a video switch 16. Consequently, the video switch 16 changes over video signals transmitted from the sound/video transmitters 26 and 24 of the remote stations 2 and 3 and displays them on the monitor 28.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To speed up image compression and expansion processing by dividing an object image into plural areas, assigning a code compression and expansion device separately to each area and providing a means for applying multi- compression/expansion processing of an image. CONSTITUTION:Image information 2 in an image memory device 1 is split into two upper/lower areas, they are read as partial image information A3 and partial image information B4, which are given to two image compression/ expansion devices 5 prepared respectively. The 2-division compression/expansion processing doubles the compression/expansion processing speed. Then partial coding data A7, B8 coded by the image compression/expansion devices 5 are synthesized by a code synthesis divider 6. The procedure of the expansion is executed conversely as above.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of image compressed information by comparing the volume of compressed information obtained by encoding an image in plural scanning directions, such as a longitudinal, a lateral and an oblique directions, etc. and fetching the compressed information having the minimum volume of information into an image processor. CONSTITUTION:The image information accumulated in an image information memory 11 is scanned in the lateral and the longitudinal directions, being outputted as scan signals (a) and (b). Both signals are inputted to and compressed at a lateral and a longitudinal direction image compressor/expanders 2 and 3, being outputted to a compression information volume comparator device 4 as a lateral and a longitudinal direction compression information (c) and (d). These both compression information (c) and (d) are inputted to and accumulated at the comparator device 4, and at a time when an image compressing processing is completed, the volume of information of the accumulated compression information (c) and (d) are compared, either information having the minimum volume of information between two being outputted as image compression information (e).

Each of compressed information (b) and (c) compressed by the above two apparatuses is accumulated within a compression information volume comparator device 4 and at a time when an image compression process is completed, the volumes of the compressed information are compared and the compressed information having the minimum volume of information is outputted as the compressed information (d) of an image. thereby, the reduction of the compression information volume of the image can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To immediately execute processing to the alarm information of a high priority order by masking the alarm information, which are not needed for the processing, out of the plural alarm information and inputting the alarm information required for the processing. CONSTITUTION:When the collection of the specified alarm information are instructed by an operation part 4, an alarm processing part 1 generates a control signal based on the instruction. A mask signal generation part 7 receiving the control signal sends a mask signal corresponding to the control signal to an alarm mask part 6. As a result, the alarm mask part 6 masks the alarm information excluding the specified information from the plural alarm information and sends the specified alarm information to the alarm processing part 1. Thus, the alarm information of the high priority order can be immediately processed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform the switching of plural transmission station control panels by branching to connect a line advancing from a controller to the plural transmission station control panels to all the transmission station control panels, and connecting the line of one transmission station control panel selected by a change-over switch to the controller. CONSTITUTION:In a transmission station control panel switching system having the controller 4 and the plural transmission station control panels 1, the change- over switch 3 to switch the line advancing from the plural transmission station control panels 1 to the controller 4 is provided. In such a case, the line advancing from the controller 4 to the plural transmission station control panels 1 is branched, then, connected to all the transmission station control panels, and the line of one transmission station control panel selected by the change-over switch 3 is connected to the controller 4. In such a way, it is possible to switch the plural transmission station control panels with simple equipment constitution without performing the change of the hardware and software of the controller.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To always catch a speaker in an image pickup picture by automatically following a camera display part in the direction of the speaker. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generating circuit incorporated into a handset 3 drives an infrared LED 14 and light-emits the pulse-shaped light. The pulse light is respectively light-received by respective PIN photodiodes 11-13, a camera display part is driven by motors 8 and 10 corresponding to the phase difference signal outputted from a phase comparing circuit, the face of the speaker is automatically traced and thus, a display 2 and a camera 5 are followed in the direction of the speaker. Thus, the speaker can be always caught in the image pickup picture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a DC driving circuit to be driven with less control signal current, by forming the DC driving circuit using a MOSFET. CONSTITUTION:When driving control signal c is set to be of a level H, the the level of a nodal point 21 is set to be H, and the level of a nodal point 22 is set to be L. Then, a P channel MOSFET 14 and an N channel MOSFET 15 are turned conductive, and a DC motor 17 is rotated in the forward direction. In the meantime, when the driving control signal c is set to be of a level L, then the DC motor 17 is rotated in the reverse direction. A counter-electromotive force when voltage fed to the DC motor 17 is inverted or cut flows to a DC motor driving power source via a power terminal 20 due to a parasitic diode 23 in the MOSFET, and so a protective diode fitted externally in particular is not needed.

Each of the lateral and longitudinal direction scanning signals (a) and (b) is inputted to a lateral and a longitudinal direction image compressor and expanders 2 and 3 respectively, being compressed, and outputted to a completion detecting comparator device 4 as lateral and longitudinal direction compression information (c) and (d). The lateral and the longitudinal direction compression information (c) and (d) are inputted to and accumulated at the completion detecting comparator device 4 by interruption signals (e) and (f) for lateral and longitudinal direction compression process completion. The compression information on which an image compressing process is applied and completed in the earliest time out of the accumulated compression information (c) and (d) is outputted as image compression information (g).
