    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a processing time by processing all errors per track after processing every track with an error RAM to be written with a sector error information per sector in the track. CONSTITUTION:When a sector address 4 sent from an optical disk drive unit coincides with a sector address 3 for access, an error data 18 per sector in a track is written to a RAM in accordance with an error RAM address 5 corresponding to the sector address. An upper-order control device detects thereby errors generated after the track-by-track process proceeding the next upon no errors generated. If an error is generated, the error RAM is then read out at once to find its error sector and the error batch processing is intensively carried out. Therefore, the upper-order controller is free from such errors during the sector processing while the optical disk rotates without no use, and the processing time is so reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To always catch a speaker within an image pickup screen and to attain talking for the speaker without considering the direction of a video telephone set to the speaker itself by automatically following up the camera part and display part of the video telephone set in the direction of the speaker exactly. CONSTITUTION:Respective infrared LEDs 14a and 14b are driven and the two kinds of pulse-shaped light (a) and (b) are emitted by infrared LED pulse generation circuits 20a and 20b integrated in the right and left of a hand set 3. The phase difference of PIN photo-diodes 12a, 12b-13a and 13b is detected by upper and lower angle phase comparators 24a and 24b and an upper and lower angle motor control part 26 is controlled so that the phase difference can be eliminated. Similarly, a right and left angle motor control part 27 is controlled by right and left angle phase comparators 25a and 25b so that the deviation of right and left angles can be eliminated. A second rising part 1C is moved to right and left by turning a right and left angle motor 10 and the infrared LEDs 14a and 14b of the hand set 3 are followed up in right and left direction. Thus, the face of the speaker can be suitably followed up at all times.

Accordingly, by adding the track address 16 to the sector address 12, even for the processing, spreading over the plural tracks, the respective sector error informations are stored while only the number of the sectors to be processed being noticed, without considering the difference of the track, and the processing of the error can be performed by the lump after the completion of the series of the processing.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent noise from being generated at the time of switching a speaking station in the system which consists of a studio station and plural remote stations by cutting off a voice for a certain period right after an instruction when the studio station sends a transmission instruction to a remote station which makes a request to speak. CONSTITUTION:A voice selection control part 11 is added to the studio station 9 and remote stations 10 of a conventional educational system. The studio station 9 gives the right of speaking to the remote station 10 which makes the request to speak through a communication line (b). The image and voice of the remote station 10 which is given the right begin to be sent to all stations through a communication line (a). At the time of this switching, the transmitters 1 of the respective stations send data errors before frame synchronism is established and they are reproduced as a noise through a speaker 6, so each station when receiving switching information sends a voice selection signal (i) to the voice selection control part 11 so as to preclude the noise generation, thereby cutting off the voice for several seconds.

The camera 3 and the display part 4 are incorporated in the rising part 2. At the time of hooking the handset 5 on a handset fixing groove 7, a hook switch 6 is operated, the rising part 2 collapses to abuts against the bottom part 1, and then, a rising part detecting first switch 10 is operated. Thereby, at the time of hooking off the hand set, the rising part automatically rises and at the time of hooking it, the rising part is automatically lowered.

In such a way, since the offset value to complement can be set at respective optical disk device in advance, it is not required to consider a difference in individuals of devices, and the optimum value can be obtained in the device, therefore, the fast seek can be realized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a trial printing to be repeatedly conducted to prevent troublesome paper setting and a waste of paper, by setting an erasable and reprintable paper in endless form. CONSTITUTION:A paper 1 is set in endless form by connecting a printing- erasable paper in ring form. An ink material which can be erased by an ink eraser liquid after writing is used for an ink ribbon 2. Erasing rollers 3 rotating reverse to a paper feed direction are provided with felt-form surfaces, which are previously impregnated with the ink eraser liquid. In printing, through an ink ribbon 2 a printing head 6 impacts the paper 1 which is depressed down against a printing roller 4 by paper press rollers 5. Since a printed part of the paper 1 is fed in an A direction to be discharged from a discharge port provided on an outer case 8, it can be read from a B direction by abutting an abutting board 10. When not in use, the paper 1 is pulled into the outer case 8 by driving paper storage rollers 7. On the other hand, if a printing is still continuously carried out, the leading part of the paper 1 having written information is taken into the outer case 8 through the paper storage rollers and, thereafter, the information is erased by the erasing rollers 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device calculating in high speed a run length from an MH code string by providing the 1st storage means storing tentatively the MH code string and the 2nd storage means storing the transit state table and the run length table so as to decrease number of times of the state transition number of times with plural-bit processing. CONSTITUTION:An image memory device 10 has an MH code string data storage area 11, the transition stage table 12, and the run length tables 13-15. A memory access controller 30 reads an MH code data and references the transition state table 12 and the run length tables 13-15 by using a formed data. Then suppose that the initial value of the transition state value is preset. Further, an -bit is fetched from the MH code string. The transition state value and the fetched MH code 8-bit are given to an arithmetic unit 20, from which the formed data is obtained. The formed data obtained in this way is used as an address to reference the transition state table 12 and the run length tables 13-15 so as to obtain the next transition state table and the run length consisting of maximum three of white run length/black run length/EOL/ERROR. The operations above are repeated to calculate the run length from the MH code string.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the picture switching time within 2 seconds in total including one second of the satellite channel switching time to smoothly give a lecture by refreshing a picture by data indicating that the turned-back transmission radio wave is received by a remote station itself to be the next transmission station at the time of remote station switching. CONSTITUTION:A master controller 14 issues a speaking instruction to a remote controller 15 of a remote station 3 after one second of the satellite channel switching time. Though synchronism between student receiving pictures in studio station and a remote station 2 is lost by switching of the transmission station, a picture compressing/expanding device 26 in the remote station 3 can receive this state by the satellite turning-back signal of a transmission radio wave 20. Therefore, the remote station 3 starts transmission, and the transmission radio wave 20 reaches the studio station 1 and remote stations 2 and 3, and the device 26 detects step out of pictures, and as the result, a reception part of the device 26 immediately issues a picture refresh instruction to its own transmission part. Thus, the time from transmission switching of the remote station to projection of the picture is kept within two seconds to smoothly give a lecture.
